I also liked the other serious point Adam raised, namely, video games as a form of relaxation. I know that if I've had a long day at school or work and I'm looking to sit back, kick my feet up and get my game on, I don't feel like doing it on my feet or bouncing around spastically.
Yes, video games are engaging and immersive, but they are also times for me to tune out, shut off my brain and recharge my batteries. I'd go for a run if I wanted to be active at that moment.

No offense to the Terminator fans above, but the video clearly parodied 2001: A Space Odyssey. It never came close to terminator-status. I'm a fan of Terminator too, but there are better, more thoughtful movies out there. Stanley Kubrick FTW
