PlayStation 3 owners have some added incentive to pick up Ubisoft’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood as Ubisoft announced today it will be releasing exclusive, day-one downloadable content for the franchise’s third console installment.
The free DLC brings famed astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus into Ezio’s circle of legendary friends, and give players access to new missions involving helping Copernicus expose a conspiracy against him and his philosophies (Geez. Someone thinks the world revolves around them, don’t they?).
The Copernicus Conspiracy DLC sneaks onto the PlayStation Network November 16.
Should the need arise, feel free to E-Mail me your tips, suggestions, and/or personal philosophies, or follow me on Twitter.

Sounds interesting. The DLC could go both ways, and I believe it is going to be awsome.

I'm pretty sure it will come to the 360 at some point. Since console exclusives are getting rarer these days, it makes sense. DLC exclusives will boost sale for their respective platform, but will eventually come to all of them I think. To be honest, if anyone is getting screwed with DLC, it's PC gamers. I really think they are getting the shaft on tons of games. Just my 2 cents.

yay ps3

How do companies have the stones to screw over customers by being bought out for exclusive dlc and the like, it really is a dick move. I get that it's business but that doesn't quite make it okay.

Wikipedia is invalid use a reliable source lol.

For those of you who immediately say, "But Copernicus was Polish!" here is a wikipedia entry:
"Copernicus spent the jubilee year 1500 in Rome, where he arrived with his brother Andrew that spring, doubtless to perform an apprenticeship at the Papal Curia."
BOOM. So I either just figured out the time period that AC:B takes place, or I found a disgusting anachronism. Either way I feel pretty superior right now.
Also, Not Cool, Ubisoft. I was never sure if I was buying this or not, but since my copies of AC 1 &2 are on the 360, I won't buy this game, I'll just rent the PS3 version.

I'm not too surprised with the shift towards console exclusive DLC, it actually makes sense. They are sure to have a lot of PS3 gamers hooked at the start, and Xbox360 gamers will soon enough get their own DLC.

"Geez. Someone thinks the world revolves around them, don t they?"
I see what you did there...very nice. Still getting it on the 360. This will come there eventually. Kudos to PS3 for finally getting in on the exclusive DLC stuff.
