Racing game fans have no doubt played and replayed the newly released Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit demo, and I was playing last night, and I was really struck by how the game blends goes about blending two distinct arcade racing styles. I’m currently playing the full game for review, so I can’t share my thoughts on Pursuit just yet. That’s why what I’m curious about this morning is only tangentially related to Hot Pursuit. Here's my question:
When it comes to racing games, what do you prefer: arcade or simulation? And why?
