Hybrid Teaser Trailer »

5th Cell, the developers who brought us Scribblenauts, are at it again. "It" being creating innovative and brilliant video games. 5th Cell's website had a countdown clock last week that revealed the title of their next game, Hybrid.
Hybrid, a third person shooter, will be far cry from Scribblenauts. 5th Cell will be trying their hand at a new platform, a "new gameplay experience" and most importantly, a new demographic. This game won't be about improving your vocabulary and will need to compete with the likes of Gears of War. C-H-A-I-N-S-A-W. Still got it.
A website has been launched for Hybrid but very little is known about the game's story. Although from what I know so far I'll be playing as a Variant because their necklace is pretty and looks like a heart piece. So what if they started the war?
What do you think of the trailer? Is 5th Cell just trying to build hype or could Hybrid actually be something special?
Hybrid will be out exclusively for Xbox Live Arcade in 2011.
