If you've been having trouble with glitches, bugs, and getting your dog to stop digging in Fable 3 you're not alone. Lionhead cares. They want to know the problems you've been having so they can fix them. Why don't you take a seat on the couch and tell us your problems. Your Fable 3 problems, that is. Keep those childhood nightmares to yourself.
A post on Lionhead's official blog reassures gamers a patch is coming for Fable 3. The patch currently in production will fix several known bugs but they need your help finding more. If you've noticed anything that needs their attention let them know. Think of it like finally getting that dream job you've always wanted testing video games. Except that you aren't getting paid for it.
One major issue people have been having is with the Kingmaker App. Gamers haven't been able to transfer gold from the mobile game to their Fable 3 files. Lionhead offered these steps and assured gamers the app will be back in full working condition soon.
- First of all, we’re aware that the Kingmaker App is currently not allowing players to log-in. This SHOULD NOT affect your ability to transfer any Gold you have previously earned in Kingmaker. We are working feverishly on this issue and it should be fixed soon.
- Ensure you have linked your Xbox LIVE account to your Kingmaker account. Go to www.Fable3Kingmaker.com, log in with your Kingmaker user name and password, then click the ‘Profile’ link on the left hand side (under your coat of arms). Then select ‘Link my Fable III: Kingmaker account to my Windows LIVE account’.
- Once you’re sure your accounts are linked, start playing Fable III. You will not receive your Kingmaker Gold until you have played a little while into the main game – specifically (mild spoiler warning), you will need to have defeated Saker in the Mercenary camp and returned to Brightwall, then met up with Sir Walter in the pub again.
- At this point Jasper will call you back to the Sanctuary to explain how you can help villagers. It’s at this point that you should see a gift waiting for you on the gift pedestal (to the left of the Sanctuary, right next to your dog’s basket).
- Approach the gift (which should say that it’s from Lionhead) and press A to receive it – the Gold will then transfer into your in-game account!
- If you do not see the gift at this point try continuing until you are back in Brightwall, then press Start agai to return to the Sanctuary and look for the gift again.
- Next - get out there and spend all your lovely Gold!
- Once we have the Kingmaker app allowing log-ins again you will be able to continue earning Gold in Kingmaker until January 1st and it will transfer to your Fable III game every Monday. Again, you will see the Gold appear as a gift in the Sanctuary.

I just got this game and It. You didn't even finish the thing! I am so pised I bought it. Fable 2 was the best game I ever had and expected 3 to be as good. Its a great game other then the fact at every turn some glitch screeews every thing up. killed my family when I moved them into my castle. What the hellls up with every one becoming a drunk that vomits every where thats just stupid! The expressions are terrible at best. I have to hommo erotic dance with every man in the world? Now it said I have 121 days left to get ready for the battle then one second later the times come... so needless to say I cant get my shii8t in order. You guys really screweed this game up I want my money back!I now just started the big battle unexpectedly and I turned the dam thing off I dont care what happens

great story on fable three. expecially the last third or so of game. the expression system is very annoying though. and i want an inventory list and to be able to drink a beer other then when needed in combat. feels like alot of the free play ability has been lost in fable 3. personally enjoyed fable 2 more simply for these reasons. i can be who i want and do what i want. bring this aspect back to fable 3 and will be one K.A.G.

That they released a patch to put out game breaking issues...
Oh wait... that's right they claimed it was to fix things (although I have yet to see anything fixed) and now my game is froze in Brightwall...
Power down xbox, turn on xbox start game
load game
freeze during loading...
rinse and repeat...
And the collector's edition was only $80...
What a bargain...
Next time Lionhead... why not make a real improvement...
Charge us all $100 to let someone come to our house and kick us in the junk...
At least that way we know you really care about us...

Now everything is talking about the DLC...
Why doesn't any one mention if the latest patch is going to be fixed, before or after the latest DLC...
Nothing like trying to sell me DLC for a section of the game that I can no longer access..

was satisfied with game and all its glitches, until last night, now its unacceptable. i was trying to trade
weapons to another player, and when i tried to join his game it brought up my other game, every time i
loaded my second character, and joined his game, when i appeared in his world, i was my first character. so i deleted the first character, and then, was able to join, and gift, but upon trying to save and exit, my xbox froze. now i cant even Finnish a mission without the damn thing freezing up, not the lagging that i can look past, i mean, get up and hit the power button. other glitches, pie making, the pie crust hovers over the table, and when he puts it on the pie plate, it lands next to the pie plate instead of on it. when interacting with the dog, the training book wont appear at the bottom of the screen, but if i hit the d pad to train the dog it still does it., the first gnome, i shot it and nothing happened i had to save exit and re-load the game to be able to shoot it. the online chat is buggy at best sometimes it works and sometimes not, the mortar game, i beat the score needed to win multiple times, and just got a sack of potatoes of barrel of coffee, no grand prize. all those minor glitches and bugs i could live with, but with it freezing, i cant even play. is there any way to stop the freezing? i have played for 45 hours, and would like to continue.

OK few more things,if your going to make a RPG type game how about oh I don't know put some RPG options.Weapons can't be customized,Clothing looks as a five year old would coming out of mommy and daddy's closet if you try to mix match,Spell casting and mixing not bad but some people i talk to say they miss the old way I say new game new stuff.Witch brings me to my next point "NEW STUFF" ya you got a bit new look to the world,some new weapons a few new outfits with no armor grade yet you can have armor.and also less inter action with villagers,OH WOW I CAN HOLD HANDS HUG KISS.I can't choose which one to do or when no the game dose for you.I can't have more then ten pie's on me but I can have 200+ potions and only one food at a time,come on you find a lizard on a stick in some dig spot your dog took ten minutes to show you and sorry those 10 carrots ya there gone now.I did like that you had to level your skills over time unlike the 2nd game where you just start a co-op unlearn his skills drop out and boom your hero is maxed now one hour into the game.I liked that the rent was not in real time making it easy to just set your date forward and bam your rich,yet you can dupe items with a second controller which took me a grand total of a about one hour to figure out so gold again no meaning I had 30 mill. before i left the dweller camp.Co-op online good,co-op same screen still sucks has no one heard of split screen shooters can do it but this game your stuck like glue to each other.Also you want to be good or bad go for it,this dose not change the story at all same stuff happens same ending Walters proud of you the end.I just hope the DLC's that come out for this game are better then ever and are a decent price and speaking of that whats up with different bonus downloads depending on where you buy it.If you got yours from one store and your friend got his or hers some place else sorry cant play together not compatible downloads oh and you cant trade those items ether.This game had great potential to be epic but instead they sold us a chop shop of a sequel to beta test for them and charge us $60.00 to do it dose anyone else feel a bit used?.

All I have to say is if Lionhead keeps releasing games unfinished and asking gamers that wasted $60.00 to beta test for them then I will never buy anything else with there name on it. Fable 3 is the most messed up game I have ever had the displeasure of playing. Chests will not open though I have more silver keys then needed, Your dog disappears to god knows where, The game has to save after EVERY TIME you do anything and that's one of the big one cause when in the game save 7 out of 10 times your Xbox will freeze so you lose the last how ever much game play you just did and have to start again.And those are just a few problems I have encountered with this game,I know they will not refund players money but they should make it up bye releasing lots of new content for free or at the very least cheaper then @#$%..!!

When I married to a shop keeper I couldn't get her to follow me and so I couldn't interact with anyone else so i had to start over again even though I was far ahead in the game

My game screen would glitch if i ran beside the chicken race track, which wasn't too bad. Now, however, I can't get my game to load. After the title screen it freezes on the load up.

I think that it's total BS that these companies just push total junk out there with the mind set of "oh we'll just patch it later". Internet capable machines are making game makers lazy and irresponsible! Are there people out in the sticks without internet hooked up to their systems that are sitting on piles of broken games? One can only imagine...

I just want to say that everyone always seem okay when this or any other MS game comes out that have glitches, but let it be a Sony product then wholly hell is unleashed... just saying. And oh, before the fanboy rants start I have all three systems so you can kick rocks. Fable just seems like they always over-promise and always under-delivery. But my wife likes Fable so I won't talk too much before I'm in the doghouse, lol.

studios need better QA, and game of the year? hardly. Fable 3 is a great game, but many features were neutered from the last game, there is no challenge, features were cut, weapons are limited, dogs are buggy, quests are broken, and in 15 hours i beat everything with not much replayability. I imagine with teh extra land on your map, we will soon have DLC bleeding us dry that could have been in the release game.

I havn't had any glitches really. The only thing that I would say that needs to be fixed is the walking/running route of the dog. The dog seems to always run into walls and just stick there for some time.

had to restart after I was pretty far along. Suddenly, right after I killed the last hobbe my character flew backward like there had been an explosion. Once standing instead of allowing me to move the camera just spun and spun and spun. When the camera finally settled down and I could move again my weapons disappeared...according to the armory they were still equipped but whenever I would try to fight my character would just stand there and get pummeled.

My biggest glitch is now that Jasper won't talk to me. Ever since I first arrived in Mourningwood, he's been giving me the silent treatment. I can't even interact with him. Strangely, he does talk to me in multiplayer.
