If you’ve been itching to take your tomb raiding experience online in Crystal Dynamics’ downloadable re-envisioning Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (and obviously, how could you not? It’s a co-op centric game after all), then you’ll be pleased to know that the Xbox 360 version will be updated tomorrow to add said online functionality.
To reward players for their patience with regards to the addition of online co-op, Crystal Dynamics will be offering the game’s first DLC pack for free for 30 days. The “All the Trappings” DLC adds a new area to explore, as well as new puzzles to solve and tomb-y beasts to slay.
It was announced back in August that ther would be five DLC packs released for Guardian of Light before the end of the year. If this is the still the plan, expect to see a mini flood of add-on content over the coming weeks.
No word yet on when the co-op update and DLC will be available for the PlayStation 3 and PC versions of the game, but Crystal Dynamics says details should be on their way shortly.
Should the need arise, feel free to E-Mail me your tips, suggestions, and/or personal philosophies, or follow me on Twitter.

Now if only the folks who made Shank can come up with online co-op, then I'll be a happy camper!! But this is good news as well.
