Want to know the level of commitment required to unlock the Endless Setlist achievement in the soon to be released Rock Band 3? It sounds innocent enough: play all 83 songs in one sitting. However, as X-Play’s Abbie Heppe, Matt Keil, and J.P. Shub found out, plowing through RB3’s massive track selection in one go is far from the glamorous feat you’d think it would be. Still, they powered on, and now you can witness their heroic journey by checking out the following video. Warning: serious gamer dedication ahead.

I'd say the most surprising thing about this video is the fact that Abbie's Ax of choice is the GH 2 Explorer.

@Avearys333: Yeah, I somehow managed that one on expert drums - solo. I was in a world of pain, but it was worth it for one of the most physically demanding achievements ever. I actually can't wait to do the ESL3 now that there's no BoS attached to it. Great job guys (and gal)!!!

Now do the "Bladder of Steel" achivement on RB2. Finish the entirety of the Endless Setlist 2... without pausing or failing. Once. THAT is dedication.

I hope there's not another Steel Bladder achievement like in RB2. That was not a fun one to get.

    Great job guys!

Wow. Thats impressive and some serious gamer dedication. I hope G4 will pay for all the physical therapy that these three are going to need on their hands after playing Rock Band for 7 hours.

Great Job, Abbie, Matt and J.P.

Why Isn't Lightning Bolt on Rock Band yet? I heard Brian Gibson (the bassist) works at Harmonix, but even if that isn't true, they just seem like they would melt faces on a Rock Band game.

couldnt you just put the MIC on a fan and put it on beginner and just let it auto go through all the songs? i mean if you have to push the "A" button to get to the next song, then i would just tape down the A button on my turbo controller. Done without struggling. LOL and you guys looked like you struggled to get this achievement.

I can see that being done on the first playthrough, but after you've done it once you'd never want to do it again. The only time I did that was when I bought Guitar Hero World Tour. I was so psyched to have that game I spent the 6-7 hours non-stop until I finished the whole career mode. But there are songs in Rock Band that are so awful that I couldn't imagine doing that one, especially the ones that are so easy that you could fall asleep standing up playing on guitar.

lets see, 83 songs, I'll say about 4 minutes per song on average including menu time and setup for each song, that leaves us around 5.5 hours. probably more depending on how long the songs are.

    good job guys. thats dedication!
