Fallout: New Vegas is on store shelves today, and while the game is certainly epic, there are a lot of reports of bugs, glitches, freezing and other tech problems. But don't worry: Bethesda is working on cleaning it up.
A Bethesda representative told TheFeed that the company is working on releasing patches/updates for all platforms "as quickly as possible." Mroe specific announcements and further details are forthcoming. So sit tight!
Until then, please enjoy the glitch below, which shows a Gecko flying, then doing a crazy dance to some soulful country music. I lurfed!

I am glad I did not buy at launch. Those bugs would have been a major turn off.

Ah, look at him dance. Why did you shoot him. No wonder Gecko's are so mean. The nice minding there own business dancing gets blasted. Major gaming foul.

Am I the only one who remembers a time when games were tested for bugs (and hopefully fixed) BEFORE they were released, not after? I'm always a little bit bothered how getting a game out always seems to take priority over actually making it a polished finished product.

That fine and all but I don't have Live, meaning it won't help any.

I'm only a couple hours in and haven't run into anything yet, but is it any surprise that Obsidian made a buggy game? It's kinda their MO.

my game has frozen once on 360 and i've seen a lot of people glitching out, but i'm starting to get mad because ever since I went to Nipton and got on the mayor's computer there has been a giant computer screen that takes up about 9/10 of the screen when i try to pick locks. So i have to do it completely by feel. And now I bought the varment rifle night scope and it shows up on that too!!!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy??????????????

Was it just me or did anyone else notice that there are words scrolling across the bottom that maybe considered... inappropriate?

in all honesty, i've played for 12 hours and only had the game glitch once to the point that I was stuck. (Doors wouldn't open.) It was funny though because all the body parts of people that I had killed in that room kept rocking back and forth to the classic music. haha

Doesn't anyone TEST games anymore? Then again the 360 has so many bugs and problems to begin with I guess the job is never done huh?

Over the span of the first two hours my game froze twice (had to reboot the PS3 completely). Luckily I had saved it right before the first one, but now i find myself saving it every 5 minutes or so.

There is a really funny glitch I'd like to share but links aren't allowed in comments.

I'm about 4 hours in an I haven't had much of any problems. I've seen one floating enemy and from time to time my character's arm twitches but thats about it. I had read on PlanetFallout that if you clear your cache you won't have many of these issues, so I did that before I installed it.
