Netflix Coming To Wii This Spring

Streaming movies with Netflix is amazing, but if you're a Wii owner, it's also sort of annoying. You have to write to Nintendo, get them to send you a disc, and use it every time you want watch Stupid Teenagers Must Die. But soon, it won't be an issue. A Netflix Wii channel has launched, so you'll be able to stream media all day without hassle.

"At this time of year, consumers have a near-insatiable demand for family entertainment," said Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime. "And this simplified Netflix access will help bring families together more quickly, more easily and in more ways than ever before. More than 3 million Wii systems have already connected to Netflix, demonstrating how easy the service is to set up and use."

In spite of Fils-Aime's comments, if you're like me, and have an insatiable demand for non-family entertainment, you're still covered.

Obviously, you'll need a Netflix subscription to make this work. Here's a guide from Netflix to get it all hooked up.
