Undead Nightmare's Four Horses Of The Apocalypse Ride Into Our Hearts

Rockstar Games revealed yesterday that the zombie-fueled Undead Nightmare downloadable content pack will be unleashed upon the world of Red Dead Redemption on October 26. And just when I thought I couldn’t want the damn thing more, Rockstar goes ahead and releases new info and screens for four new playable mounts coming with the DLC: the aptly titled Four Horses of the Apocalypse.

Each mythical horse possess a unique ability that spells bad news for anyone unlucky enough to cross their paths.

• Death: With Hell following close behind, Death carries with him a violent wake that rattles through the skulls of the undead, causing a spectacular cranial explosion for any zombie it comes in contact with.
• Famine: Attracting a swarm of insects wherever it travels, Famine's thin shadowy frame and crimson eyes mask an everlasting stamina.
• Pestilence: A ghastly harbinger of plague and disease that's easily identifiable by its exposed wounds and ocular hemorrhaging, Pestilence possesses an exceptionally high pain threshold.
• War: Given power to take peace from the earth, the fiery red horse known as War ignites a trail of flame upon all those in its path, turning the living and the undead alike into smoldering ash.

All of the horses look spectacular, but the idea of being able to cause zombie heads to explode simply by running by them is so ridiculously brilliant I can't take it. If I were a zombie, I'm pretty sure the contents of my head would currently be decorating my cubicle.
