In other multiplayer beta news, Guerilla Games announced today that the beta for Killzone 3 will kick off, exclusively for a limited number of PlayStation Plus subscribers, October 25.
Beta codes will be sent out to the first 10,000 Plus members (5,000 from North America, and 5,000 from Europe) to download the exclusive Killzone 3 XMB Theme from the PlayStation Store on October 19. Guerilla will also be giving away 150 codes in SCEA and SCEE territories to non-PS Plus subscribers via Twitter and the game’s official Facebook page sometime before the beta launches.
The beta itself will let Killzoners test drive the Operations multiplayer mode, party system, jetpack, and exoskeleton vehicles, so if that sounds like something that will bring you incalculable joy, stay tuned to the appropriate channels, and good luck.

I can't wait for KZ3!! and yes, PSPlus is totally worth it. I encourage anyone who likes games to get it. Had it for 2 months and it's more than paid for it's self. i feel like i'm stealing stuff from them.

I am a PS+ subscriber and have been very happy thus far. The auto download feature of game updates is really cool, and I have been invited to 3 different betas now. Also, I've taken advantage of quite a few discounts on PSN store items. I still think PS+ needs to add more network service features but so far, so good.

the only problem with KZ2 was the aiming lag. i really hope that will get fixed even though i still love KZ2 even though it was hard to aim on.

I don't have PS+ nor will I ever.I think paying for something like the PS network and playing games online(something I hardly ever do, since online multiplayer doesn't really interest me much)Doesn't justify paying a fee for, especially since it's already free and sorry but games like Killzone 3 don't interest me enough.My cousin is getting it when it comes out, I'll "demo" it at his house and decide if I want to play it or not.If you ask me, Playstaion Plus+ is a big rip off, though i'd probably be more mad if some big game's demo or beta was exclusive to PS+, as it stands it aint got nothing I like.

I got PS+ and I'm satisfied with it. Love the automatic downloads, tons of free mini games I like to dick around with when I'm bored and of course there's opportunities to get beta's like this. Definitely gonna download that theme as soon as it hits the market.

I am truly happy with my plus sub. Last night I received the Dead Space 2 Multiplayer beta and I love it so far. Perks like these are what really make PS Plus Shine :)

I am obsessed with this idea of getting to see this game on my screen 4 months before it releases because I'm buying this game on day one. Now I'm going to have to find the cash for a Plus subscription, just for a month though because for everything else PSN satisfies my online needs and all for free, hehe!
