Double Fine’s curly haired creative director Tim Schafer just announced via Twitter that his team’s downloadable Halloween themed Costume Quest will be released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on October 20. Schafer also revealed the adorable, and assuredly hi-larious, adventure title will set you back $15/1200 Microsoft Points.
You might think that price is a little steap, but can you really put a price on being able to relive your favorite childhood memories of trick-or-treating around your neighborhood?...You know, only without having to decide whether to avoid that scary lady's house or just suck it up for the sake of more candy, or that time that creepy guy dressed in a Spider-Man costume (i.e. Spider-Man pajamas) offered you candy in September outside the 7-11. I don't know why I just referenced things that happened to me last week, but you see my point.
Should the need arise, feel free to E-Mail me your tips, suggestions, and/or personal philosophies, or follow me on Twitter.

im really excited about this game. I like that its a nice fresh concept and not another shooter (am i the only one).

Bad timing. I'm getting Fallout: New Vegas the day before and have no intention of playing anything else for awhile. I wish this would have come out before Fallout, oh well their lose.

I was hoping for an earlier release. There are a lot of games coming that I will be wrapped up in. Once I get my hands on Fallout I'm pretty sure this will fade away on me.

If this game were being made by anyone other than double fine, i would say this looks incrediblly stupid. Since it is being made by double fine, I cannot wait

Dear Tim Schafer: If you ever need money, all you have to do is make " Psychonauts 2 " and have " Lili " as lead character in the video game.

Thats one day after new vegas comes out. Maybe I can squeeze this game in after I finish that and just before fable 3 comes out. Hopefully this games doesnt get overlooked during the busy fall, if its good that is.
