    Hello gods of Feedback,

What do you think about developers overhauling there titles? For example the new World of Warcraft patch this week changed the game experience. I know the Sessler doesn't play WoW but games like Infamous 2, in which Cole got changed and it received negative reception and was changed back, or the new Dmc overhaul, or Stars Wars Force Unleashed 2 are just some of the few titles that are being changed. Some of the change is good and some is bad. Do you think when game developers make these changes do they worry about how much money their going to make or they do it for the consumer, we the gamers, to have a better gaming experience?

How art thou Feedback maiden(s) and gents, my question is regarding developers, a lot of people are making joker towards Obsidian about their track record with picking up existing IPs and this has given reason to worry about Fallout NV which is coming off the great but very unpolished Fallout 3 which was developed by a different company than the original 2 games. Also Bioshock 2's critics often blame the absence of Irrational games for the argued dip in the games quality. My question is whats ya'lls stance on new developers picking up a franchise. Would ya'll rather there be no sequel until the original publisher gets back on board or would you rather no sequel at or? Thank you for ya'lls time have a nice day.

Hey Feedback, how goes it? I have a few questions I hope you can answer. First off I would like it known that I am a huge Fable fan and an avid RPG consumer of all types. My first question pertains to Fable 3, as it is soon to be released on Tuesday the 26th of this month. In Fable 3 the tradition 2D menu screens and Leveling screens have been replaced by a 3D version of each respectively, I am having a hard time deciding if this is a good move on the development teams part and will it cause the game to break immersion.
The reason i ask about immersion is that they have locked many core features of the game away in chests in their 3D Leveling Menu they call The Road to Rule such as being able to marry, dye clothes, make friends with the common folk using expressions and much more.
    My other question is:
Are we experiencing a drought of good RPG's? As I said im a huge RPG fan and I am having trouble to find good games the only 2 to look forward to so far are Fallout New Vegas and Fable 3 I wanted to know if there were any hidden gems I should keep my eye on?

Evening Feedback ^^, how goes it? I am a huge Fable fan and with the upcoming release of Fable 3 I was wondering what you guys thought of the new 3d Menu System? I was also wondering what your thoughts were on the locked contents that must be accessed through a 3D Level Up screen known as the Road to Rule. The content that has been locked away that concerns me is features in the game such as the options to marry, dye clothes, buy and sell homes, most of the game expressions and other key features.

Will this break a sense of immersion in the game or create a much more broader sense of being in the game?

    Hey Feedback crew,

I was curious with all the talk about game developers and companies being hurt by the sale of used video games and the efforts to stop gamers from buying them.

In what ways is this different from game rentals? I myself have rented many a video game over my lifetime; never buying many of those titles at all or even used let alone brand new.

I know I'm not the only one out there to rent, play and return. At one time or another though each copy was sold for it's market value; long before becoming "used". Hasn't the money been made at that point for development costs etc...?

Are there really developers and publishers being hurt by this economically? or is it just Old Man Potter's idea towards an easy target?

Hey Feedback gang really enjoying the show.

I have only just discovered it not long ago and have spent the last few days catching up on my Netcasts due to being sick.

Having watched so many episodes of Sessler's Soapbox & Feedback recently, something struck me as ironic and slightly hypocritical.

In the Soapbox episode "Changing the game Is a Good Thing" as well as on feedback Adam has mentioned how he is amazed at how unashamadly terrified of change gamers are in general.

Yet Adam and the majority of gamers and gaming media have this exact attitude toward 3D, even though it seems to be the logical evolution of gaming and home entertainment there seems to be this universal disdain towards it and the attitude that most people are hoping it fails without even giving it a chance to succeed, in most cases without even having seen it in action.

Why do you think this is the general consensus and why Adam especially, as someone who is generally welcoming of change in the industry and condemns gamers' "head in the sand" mentality, are/were you so unwilling to accept this one?

Please don't take this as a bash, I am a huge fan of yours and honestly agree with most of what you say, just not this.

As a side note, it's never going to be the only option in a game for regular consoles so what is the problem if it is just an added bonus?

I don't know about everyone else but the more value included in a game, the more likely I will buy it.

With Nintendo's investment of the 3DS, is it safe to assume that there will not be a new console from them anytime soon? Being one of the few who didn't jump all over the Wii's release, I am now considering a purchase with the release of Kirby, Epic Mickey, and possibly Zelda. Other than those titles, up until now the only games that sparked my interest were the No More Heroes titles. However, if there is the possibility of a new console within a year or two, I would be comfortable waiting in hopes that a "Wii HD" would be backwards compatible. I know this contains a lot of speculating, but would appreciate some feedback... and oh yeah, when the hell can I get some Kingdom Hearts 3!!!...lol

    Dear Feedback,

I am limited on my gaming funds almost all the time, and I am really interested in what you guys have to say about games. So my question to you fine people today is: Which fall games or games that will be discussed during Epictober should I pick up at launch and which games should I wait till Gamefly or Gamestop has for $20.00. I really appreciate your help. Thanks

    Dear Feedback,

For years, we as gamers have been able to eternally punish digital Nazis and other historical "bad guys" in games(And feel good about it) because those groups were on the losing side of their respective conflicts.

However, as more modern games such as "Battlefield: Bad Company 2" and the upcoming "Medal of Honor" shift to potential and quite real enemies like post-Soviet Russians and representations of terrorist groups resembling the Taliban, I can't help but feel that killing these fake people could be potentially inflammatory to the real-world climate. I know that when I, as an American, play "Modern Warfare 2" online and am forced to kill computerized versions of my countrymen, I don't feel particularily great about it, and acts of violence against Russian civilians (And being able to commit them yourself) would certainly bother me if I were a Russian gamer.

Do you think that people like myself are over-reacting, and shouldn't get so worked up about the deaths of fake human beings in games, or do you think that killing the soldiers and people of another nation in peacetime could be potentially damaging to our relations to said country?

    Dear Feedback Commentators,

Before getting to my question, understand that I am aware I am NOT the typical gamer. I tend to go toward games that focus as much if not more on story-lines than on the fast paced action (ie. RPGs), though I also enjoy 3rd person games, hack and slashers. Where I am a-typical, is my lack of drive for FPS games. The only time I play is when friends are playing together, and even then, I am there for the social interaction rather than the actual game-play. I have never been able to truly get over the feeling that my field of vision is incredibly limited. My most frustrating moments come when I can't figure out who is shooting me, or where they are.

While I am well aware of your predilections concerning 3D gaming (and for the most part agree with you), do you think it is even possible that at some point the "3D" effect could ever actually be used in an effective manner to help widen the field of vision, and thus give a more complete perspective of the battlefield? Or perhaps, do hardcore gamers not find the issue prevalent to their gaming needs?

Many critics have said Amnesia: The Dark Descent is one of the scariest horror games released in the last decade. I have to agree. Personally, I think it is the scariest game ever made. It's also very refreshing.

It doesn't surround you with dozens of monsters as you try to fight overwhelming odds. It doesn't have monsters pop up around corners or from closets, etc. What it does do is immerse the player in an atmosphere/environment that is truly menacing and vial. You are defenseless and vulnerable. However, you rarely catch a full glimpse at the creature that stalk the halls of the castle you are exploring. It's very Lovecraft like in it's style of horror. You may see things in the shadows of a distant room, or a door may creak or fly open as you approach it. If you see a monster, you run as fast as you can to a safe place and hide because you can't fight. But you won't take comfort in the dark corners and closets. They are not safe. If you stay in the dark too long, you start to go insane. The controls lag/don't respond and the screen blurs when you go insane. You may even see things that are not really there. The game also puts heavy emphasis on physics. You utilize physics to move and throw items, barricade doors, and solve puzzles , among other things.

It's an game which must be played to truly understand what it does so well. This is the part where I would ask what the feedback crew's opinion is; however,,you guys haven't reviewed it yet.

So my question is, will someone at G4 review Amnesia: The Dark Descent?

It seems that a lot of Japanese developers are either allowing western companies to develop their games entirely or developing with the west in mind. This by either personal choice or the parent company holding a gun to the developers heads. Yet the west seems completely indifferent to trying to appeal to the Japanese and seem to have more of a passing fansy or the occational flirt.

I know that the West is a large market and it's important as a buisness to try to capture it's attention. However, the Japanese have shown on countless countless occations that if they just honestly express their own ideas and creativity they create truly epic games.

What are you guy's thoughts on Japanese studios outsourcing games to western teams as well as trying to be something they are not and trying to cater to Western audiances. Do you feel that Western influence have had a negitive effect on Japanese game makers?

This might have been asked before but I'm new so I'll ask it anyway but why haven't game developers embraced 1080 resolution? Every game that comes out seems to be in 720 only.

Is there any chance that the L4D series will make it's way to the PS3 now that valve has, shall we say, changed their attitude towards the PS3 or at this point it's already too late?

I don't know if this issue has been discussed before as I have been out of the gaming for a few months so forgive if I am asking a question that was already addressed.

I was wondering since Portal 2 is getting Steam support on the PS3 if that any other Valve games are also going to have steam support. I was wondering specificly about Team Fortress 2. I play it on the Orange Box and I love it even though it doesn't have the unlockables, mods, maps, etc. of the PC version.
