Just a friendly reminder for all you beta lovers out there: the multiplayer betas for DICE’s Medal of Honor and Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood both go live today. The Brotherhood beta is available only to PlayStation 3 players who have pre-ordered the game, while the MOH beta is open to any PC player with a decently powered machine.
I just jumped into MOH on my Dell XPS M1530 laptop and it ran pretty smoothly with medium settings and on one of the higher resolutions, so if you have a halfway decent PC you should be fine to run it. I also managed to get in a few quick kills, which made me happy since I haven't played a multiplayer shooter on a PC for years. You can download the beta client here.
We’ll be bringing you impressions and video of the Brotherhood beta shortly for those of you who can't participate, but in the meantime, those of you who are playing it, feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section. I’ve played a bit of the multiplayer before, and found it really enjoyable, so I’m anxious to see how it’s progressed since the last time I saw it.
