World of Warcraft Developers Talk Cataclysm

Clear your holiday schedule: World of Warcaft: Cataclysm will be hitting stores on December 7 for PC and Mac. The expansion raises WOW's level cap to 85, and adds a couple new character races: Worgen and Goblin (finally!). Cataclysm will allow players to explore once-familiar game areas that have been re-shaped and devastated by the return of the corrupted Dragon Aspect Deathwing. In other words, high adventure!

"Cataclysm includes the best content we've ever created for World of Warcraft. It’s not just an expansion but a re-creation of much of the original Azeroth, complete with epic new high-level adventures for current players and a redesigned leveling experience for those just starting out," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. "With the help of our beta testers we're putting on the final polish, and we look forward to welcoming gamers around the world to enjoy it in just a couple of months."

I'm going to blow the dust off my WoW character that I haven't played in 3 or four years (I hope Sophocles has been okay!) when this comes out. What about you guys? Are you planning on getting involved in the Cataclysm? If you need help making up your mind, check out this video, won't you? It shows off the newly Cataclysmed Orgrimmar.
