The appearance of zombies is usually a bad thing, but not when it comes to the Call of Duty franchise. This morning, Activision confirmed that rumor that undead ghouls (specifically, Nazi zombies, the worst kind) will, in fact, be featured in a specific game mode in upcoming FPS Call of Duty: Black Ops.
"Zombies have been such a hit with our community that we were committed to bringing brand new zombie experiences to Call of Duty: Black Ops," says Treyarch Studio Head, Mark Lamia. "We've taken extra special care to retain the essential ingredients of our Zombie game, and have also crafted a nice surprise for the fans."
Surprise for the fans, eh? Any thoughts on what that might be?

I believe that this game has all the hype because MW2. Everyone was expecting same play ability and Multiplayer competition, but has fallen FAAR short from MW2!!! Game play is good but not as fluent of MW2, and as for online!!!! WOW what a complete LET DOWN! This game flat out SUCKs online Multiplayer, it literally took me almost an hour to even complete one match, the disconnects are horrendous, and just trying to join your friends room is just as horribly difficult that I have completely stop playing and have gone back to playing MW2!!! And although the zombie thing is cool, come On why take away the CoOp with friends??? To me Zombie does not compare to CoOp hands down! And I play with Triton 5.1 Surround Sound headphone and to try to say in what direction sound is coming in is impossible! My recommendation is wait till they give this game back to Infinity Ward who know what the gamers want with a HUGE Im sorry please come back and Sue the hell out of Activision / Trey Arch!!! DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!

There are few leaked trailers of Black Ops zombies out there (but Treyarch will probably take them down as quickly as they came up). This time, the story is that you'll play as JFK, Nixion, Castro, and MacNamara in the Pentagon fighting off zombies (they look like cubicle workers, but they might be commies) Probably one of the funniest epic storylines ever

im a huge fan of the original nazi zombies. i really hope that they will have tons of cool new stuff, and keep the story/conspiracy thing about the germans also.(every WaW nazi zombies map but the first one plays a part in the story). you can tell by the trailer that one of the maps is in some sort of facility but it looks a little more modern. i hope nazi zombies will be the same timline as WaW because it wouldent fit into the cold war era timline well. but i hope you can get the crossbow and other cool explosives in nazi zombies because it is so satifying to see a zombie blown into peices(aspecially with this games graphics)WHOOHO NAZI ZOMBIES ROCKS!!!!

let me juice it up for you... there will be newer maps that are included in ALL versions of BO yea MAPS more than one!! plus all new weapons and new engine(faster game play) if you get the hardened OR perstige edition you also get the maps from W@W. check out http://www.callofduty.com/inte l/365

it takes a while to load and you have to be 18 or over to view it; but there is some pretty epic footage there. This is another reason that this game is already preordered (Hardened edition-cant wait!)

The surprise is most likely a small stand-alone side-story dedicated to zombies in addition to the online maps. Obviously they're going to up their game as well, probably different kinds of harder zombies/creatures as the rounds go on.
