In this, our most recent Talkabout, Abbie Heppe and Jake Gaskill go gun-to-gun on the merits of Medal of Honor as a multiplayer contender in a battlefield that's about to include both Halo: Reach and Call of Duty: Black Ops. Do the various new tweaks and graphical overhaul give this latest release a fighting chance, or will it be sadly sandwiched between a Covenant plasma grenade and an RC car loaded with C4?

i am really looking forward to this game! way better than mw2 in my opinion the guns feel way better and the gameplay is alot better as well but hey that could be just me but yeah definitely first day buy for me :D

I already have this preordered and paid off just for the combination of the single player story (keeping it grounded in reality as opposed to over the top rediculous hollywood stuff) and its similarites to Bad Company 2 in look, feel, and objective modes.
However, can you guys give more information/clarification on the use of vehicles? There are vehicles just not a lot? You said, 'nobody is running for the chopper...' is that because there isn't one? (no because you showed one) because it sucks? because its only on some maps?
please clarify, thanks.

All you have to say is it's great for spawn campers and I'm out. I'm so sick of those douche bags that I'll only play certain multiplayer games that have made a real effort to not have it in their game. If the single player gets great reviews, I'll get it for single player alone. It looks amazing. But I got so sick of the B.S. that came with MW2, if there's any of that, they can keep their game.

hmmm, i didn't think abbey used the PC at all for fps's but she said she preferred the PC and 360.... i wonder what kind of sensitivity she uses on the PC.... i know its a long shot, but hey, abbey, how many inchesdo you move your mouse for a 360 degree turn with your mouse sensitivity?

I think its got chance if it pulls away from huge open enviorments like BC2 has. Thats what i didnt like about BC2. I felt like most of the time i was running around trying to find the action. I just got board with it really. I think if the maps are scaled down a bit it could replace COD for me or at least compete with COD lol.

Medal of Honor vs Black Ops Im sick of hearing which one will be better. Black Ops will probably get more sales because there are alot of COD Fan Boys out there but I do think Medal of Honor's Gameplay will be more fun because its more realistic. I was always a Medal of Honor fan before Call of Duty.

Frankly, you brought an awkward feeling in my gut while watching this. Now, I can tell you are a quiet thinker, and perhaps that's what caused this sensation while watching. Therefore we need you to have that methodical quite thinker look that you bring to the table.

I feel good about this game, It reaches more towards people who play bad company and COD
i love bad company, so personally i like the combination of both
team play is important, and thats not there much in cod
so im happy for team play and cod together

the "hardcore" gaming audience probably won't appreciate the things that make sense. Actually I don't really know what the hardcore gaming community really wants when it comes to the more "realistic" shooters and/or arcade shooters.

I am going to wait for the review on this one. I'm only going to buy it if G4 gives it a 5/5. If it gets a 4, that means I would enjoy it, but I already have a few games that I like to play all the time (Reach and COD4). I have to budget my spending and my gaming time since I'm a student. I might rent it, but we'll see.

This like stated somewhere above is its own game. This is more of a realistic shooter and MW2 is more like an arcade shooter (if that makes sense). several bullets versus a whole clip to kill someone? i like the several bullets.

personally i am a PC gamer with awesome rig but i also have an xbox which i still like to use and often play halo and COD even though i have COD on PC. YEAH I KNOW kinda ODD but different on each.
i played the private beta on PC and at first i hated it so much. i wanted to burn down dice in the first few hours of playing. BUT after raging and claiming i would never play it again i said hey before i cancel my pre order i might aswell play it a bit more. i then started to see its huge potential by this time i was adapting to its shooting which was different to both BFBC2 and COD and i thought it was great.
on the matter of Assualt rifle sniping during beta this was pretty easy 2 do, well for me anyway. so unless they changed that people will start doing it but i still find it easier on the eyes to just use a scope.
this is defs worth a rent if your worried otherwise jump into the beta and give it ago

Legit military experience? Realistic? For those looking for more realistic shooter, well as much as a video game can get realistic, why don't they try the ArmA series instead of these twitch shooters like Call of Duty. I would like Abbie to try the game and hear she thoughts since she's a hardcore gamer, especially with shooters.
