There’s just something so magical about marrying classic tunes from the mid-20th century and over-the-top, post-apocalyptic action. And nowhere is this clearer than in Bethesda Softworks Fallout series; more specifically, in this new TV ad for Obsidian Entertainment’s upcoming Fallout 3 follow up, Fallout: New Vegas. For some reason, I keep forgetting this game is only a couple weeks away, but every time I’m reminded I can’t help but looking at my wrist as if a Pip-Boy 3000 is going to magically appear on it. That’s normal, right?

The fall out games are so bad ass and fallout 3 was awesome but putin them all together in one holy shiz this game is goin to kick some ass to bad the dlc dosnt come with tbe special edition this game is goin to be the best this year

@Dash3400 Don't be so narrow minded. I was like you once - and that stopped me from playing Zelda: The Wind Waker for the longest time. I hated cel-shaded graphics back then. And then when I did play it, the game easily became my second favorite Zelda title (my favorite is still Zelda: A Link to the Past). One of the biggest reasons for that were the unique and beautiful graphics that assaulted my eyes.
I admit the graphics of Fallout 3 looked a little clunky and computer-y at times, and not necessarily realistic-looking compared to other titles. But from an artistic view point; the graphics were absolutely gorgeous. On top of that they were so unique. You rarely ever see a post-apocalyptic back drop for a video game. Especially for the RPG genre, which is rooted in so much medieval fantasy history.
And with this new release the graphics will surely improve a little more. If nothing else, give this game at least rental. I have a feeling that if your a true gamer, you'll be able to look past the graphics and learn to tolerate, if not throughly enjoy them.

i got into the series with fallout 3 and it was one of the best rpg's i've ever played. i'm not sure which game to get now though, R.A.G.E. or new vegas?

I never could get into the Fallout series mainly because of the graphics. I know that graphics aren't the only thing that matters but I like to have beautiful graphics. I think because with good graphics it looks more realistic and that means I get more into the the game but with bad graphics I can't get into it

Fallout commercials are usually impressive and this one is no different. Can't wait to play the game.

I liked the Fallout 3 commercial were the camera slowly pans out to show the wasteland.

I'm getting this but it's going to have to wait for a bit. With titles like Ac: Brotherhood, Fable 3, Ultimate Storm 2 (Yes I'm a huge anime fan) not to mention Kinect on the horizon there isn't going to be enough money to do it all unfortunately : ( (So Sad). Something's got to get pushed back to next year, anyway enjoy it first day buyers.
