Awesome web cartoon Zero Punctuation is taking time out from savaging video games with its bloody wit to implore you to join the Video Game Voters Network and keep our favorite hobby out of the hands of Washington fat-cats. It will only take a second to sign up, and it costs nothing.

Here's the Video Game Voters Link. and here's the amusing video:

Wow DJ, your view is fairly ignorant on the situation....
You DO realize that all games will be subject to censorship, correct? Just because FPSes are the "buzz genre" nowadays, doesn't mean that they are the only games that are considered games. Your "winwin" quickly becomes a "loselose" when visionaries such as Bioware, Double-Fine, etc. have their visions smothered by the government.

Funny thing is that I love playing video games but unfortunately do not love playing 1st person shooters.

As much as everyone will hate me for my opinion but if they can get rid of 1st person shooter that would make more RPGs and action adventure games to be produced so a win win for me!

    Sorry guys!

Good to see Yahtzee here. I was a little surprised he would do something like this since he's based in Australia, but I guess America has a lot of "oh, they're doing that, we should too" with other countries. Zero Punctuation can always brighten one's Wednesday up.

I signed up a couple of days ago. After reading the latest GameInformer's great article on the purposed California law my opinion on the matter completely changed. That same article had the web adress for the Video Game Voters Network and I went straight there and signed up. I hope others signed up or planning on signing up too.
