Capcom had more surprises in store during the first public day at the Tokyo Game Show, revealing that everyone's favorite genetically altered teenager Spider-Man will be joining the lineup in Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, along with the leather-clad, diabolical baddie Albert Wesker from Resident Evil.
Spider-Man was in the first two Marvel vs. Capcom games, and it looks like he has most of his skills from the last title, with some web attacks added. And plenty of new quips, let's hope. Wesker joins the lineup with the ability to counter hyper moves, a teleport function just like Deadpool's, and a sweet gigantic-rocket-from-nowhere finishing move.
We got our hands on this game in Tokyo with Dormammu and Viewtiful Joe as playable characters for the first time, and thegame is looking really sick. I might have to buy an arcade stick for the first time ever, so I can get schooled by ten year olds with hyper-fast reflexes. Thanks, Capcom. wow talk about lazy G4 couldn't even post there own video so they just stole one from gamespot. If thats where your going to be getting all your news from then maybe I'll just go there instead of waiting four days later for you to post it on your website.

Don't get me wrong, Wesker is awesome but Nemesis or some other super zombie better be playable.

Loving the roster so far, but would love to see different costumes instead of playing the same charater in different colors.

We can all say we saw that one coming. Spider-man, Wolverine, Hulk, Ironman, Captain America are the Marvel icons that have to be in this or any other game to represent. If you really want to surprise me with the Marvel line up, put in Nightcrawler, Bishop, Bastion, Beast (or Dark Beast), Blade, or Green Goblin.

Hmmm Wesker looks like he would be a cheap ass character but I'll wait and see.
And as for SPIDER-MAN HELL YES!! I was getting worried that he might not be in this one seeing as how he wasn't one of the first characters announced.

Crowd went kind of crazy there, If a certain list that leaked a few names for this game is true I can't wait to see Akuma. >:) I'm already building my teams based on what I've seen thus far.

Very cool, lovin the spiderman! but i am still holding out for the Dhalsim! He was my go to guy in MVC2

I agree, i was hoping to see nightcrawler as a possible character, but the expected moves were given to wesker. I am happy to see Ammy and Issun from Okami in their though. A revamped "Origins" version of gambit (with his skills from M:UA2) would look cool.

Both of them look cool but I'm a little sad. Wesker has the fighting style I would expect Nightcrawler to have, so I'm thinking he won't join the roster. But still both cool characters.
