A lot of you were excited about our post detailing the dynamic weather coming to Gran Turismo 5, along with a slew of other new details, but the screenshots just didn't do it justice. Now you can watch the weather in action, and see exactly what it means to get excited about things like water spray and rain streaking across windshields. By the time this game finally ships, it will probably become self-aware and just drive itself off the shelf. I have no idea what they're going to include in GT6 anymore. Raceable parade floats?

The people who call this boring are obviously not car lovers. Not ever game needs explosions or guns to be a breath taking experience.

this looks okay, still a little boring though, impressive with the weather but.... it just makes me want a more interesting looking game. i kind of wounder when extreme-g will make its return.

I hope it summons a tornado that grabs all the cars and throws them out of the race track. (but this is GT we're talking about, so the cars will be fine)

Also it was confirmed GT5 will have a lively editor (someone made a crazy design on his Porsche), so now Forza 3 really has nothing on GT5.

This looks just as sick as it should be. Now I can only hope that they have a racing series mode that lets you race through a set of tracks in a class of cars taking into account weather patterns and time of year for each race.

it looks amazing but i hope its enjoyable i tried playing GT games before and i just didnt find them fun, Project gotham was fun but just lacked alot especially the cars, then i tried Forza 2 and i hated it but after several years i tried it again and found it fun and convinced me to buy Forza 3 and its still one of my favorite games so hopefully ill really enjoy this and i cant wait for the addition of Nascar

BEST IDEA EVER:
Since GT5 has racetracks based on real locations, it would be amazing if, say it started raining in the real location, which makes it rain in the video game. That would be true dynamic weather. It'd be an option like "Literal Weather".

Being an X-box owner, I've resigned myself to the fact that I won't be able to own this game. However, after watching that video, I'm now really angry that I can't have it.
