It's a really good game. Fun to play,graphics and controlls are tight. That being said, I still say that HALO is easily the most over rated FPS of all time. When the first one came out it did revolutionize FPS on consoles, but besides that there just good (not great ) games. Give me a Gears game over a HALO game anyday. Sorry HALO fanboys, I know it's like a religion to ya, but I can think of so many better FPS than HALO. I'm not going to go into nameing them all cause there's so many. Still, it's a really good game overall and this is just one ganmers opinion so don't stroke out.

I know I'll be voted down for this, but, boring. From what I've seen (I am openly saying I haven't played it) it just looks like a standard Halo. Halo 3 (if not 2) and on, for me, are disappointment. Also, I hate Microsoft. Just putting that out there.

I'm not a Halo fan but this game does look pretty fun, I'll likely pick it up when the cost is more to my liking.

After hearing about everyone waiting in line forever, I will let you on in a little secret...Walmart. Your able to walk in and out in a mater of minutes. Plus for Reach, they gave you a free beanie and a $20 gift card. I did this for MW2 and will probably do it for every major game that comes out.

I got the game at about 1 am after waiting in line forever!!! Anyway I played a few campaign missions and some firefight and slayer. I love the tweaks they have made to the movement... halo 3 always seemed a bit slow paced because the characters ran so slowly compared to lets say Call of Duty MW, Now it feels just as fast paced as COD and i love it!!

First off, Lets be Honest. " Halo Reach " is just another " Halo " game with a few tiny twists, and weapon upgrades and slight clarity in the visual department.
In this day and age and the time spent on this game, the graphics and colours and sharpness should have been enhanced to 1080. The story line is minimal at best, and they should of changed the enemy from hideous stupid looking moronic creatures, to a more formidable foe, that looked more humanoid.
MS could have incorporated " platforming abilities " into the characters and the game should of had at least 12 more levels of game play. Whats up with all the difficulty in driving vehicles MS ?
The events shown in " Halo Reach ", all take place in space and in the future MS. Do you actually think weapons are still going to use " bullets " in that era, or you will ever have to reload your weapon ?
One must always take into consideration the story line, voice acting, game play, characters, graphics, lighting , environments, music, and any glitches when rating any video game.
Does " Halo Reach " deserve a 5 out of 5. " Absolutely not ". It graciously deserves a very good rating of 8.5 to 9.0, and thats a pretty fair rating for this " Halo " game.
" Uncharted 2 " still holds the distinct honour of being the best video game ever produced to date, and it only got a 9.4 average, and " modern Warfare 2 " got a 9.2 rating.

It's pretty great so far on Heroic. I love the way Bungie have implemented the armour abilities in the campaign. It really gives you more options for tackling different situations.
Deciding to grab the sprint pick-up when a couple of Hunters turned up so I could more easily flank them and avoid their fuel rod cannons was a really nice moment. It feels like I'm thinking on my feet a bit more than usual.

I didn't buy it, i probably will never buy it. I'm not a halo fan, although, i admit this one actually looks really good. kinda gritty and raw, which is something i haven't seen from a halo game before.
I don't have a 360 and I really can't see myself picking one up just to play this.

i got the reach xbox 360 bundle last nite at the 12:01 release i was first in line. but im not gonna be able to play until later today when i get back from work. which sucks but it's just building up the excitment to play the best game of the year!
