Don't have a PlayStation 3 to play the demo for Tecmo Koei's Quantum Theory? Don't worry we have the first 15 minutes of gameplay goodness for you to devour. Tecmo Koei America will release a demo for the Xbox 360 fans later this month, but no need to wait, see this third-person/action shooter now. On a side note, I do realize that Quantum Theory has a familiar feel to Gears of War, but that doesn't mean it can't be fun to blast off a few heads.

Judging from this, i'd say it's destined for the bargain bin.
They ripped off nearly every aspect of Gears of War, and yet somehow made a pretty lame looking game.

The AI at close range looks weak. Doesn't look that impressive.

I played the demo, the controls are a lot like Gears of War, but the cover system is a bit clunky. I thought the demo was still fun though. The best thing that I noticed on the demo is that the AI is actually pretty good, the enemies do try to flank you and will hide in cover until you stop shooting or run out of ammo. The weapons also have a good feel to them. By playing through the demo I decided that I will most likely buy it. I still do not think that it is as good as Gears of War though.

I could DL this now, but by the time I get it off psn AND it installs it will be out for the 360.

the game is a demo so it makes sense that there are still bugs in it that would make the cover system not work correctly doubt its the interns fault.

I guess if you only own a PS3 and never played a gears game and want to get kinda sorta what the game play is like, i guess i can see you buying this thing used or on sale.

Yeah okay zenmastersamuraimonk, this game looks more like a first pass beta of Gears of War. You're right though, it is made by a japanese developer who is trying to imitate American form, badly.
Also, whoever is playing this demo is really bad at it. My god, must be an intern or developmentally delayed person.

now on a comment relating to the game, i can't believe this game looks so bad, i haven't played it yet, but i can somehow feel the frustration of the guy playing when the cover system is not working properly. i was planning to play the demo, but i think i will skip this one.

i think the game looks cool, like a better version of gears of war, and its also made by a Japanese developer so thats a plus.

Yeah this game looks like crap!! I know it's very common for game to look and feel like other games sometimes. But this game is a complete and total rip from Gears of War!! I mean even the main character favors Marcus Fenix. Yeah I think I'm gonna go ahead and pass on this game, and even the demo too.

I heard the demo was awful, but you have to be pretty delirious to not notice it's awful just from the videos.
