Looking to add even more transform-y-ness for your copy of High Moon Studios' hit robot-morphing title Transformers: War for Cybertron? Then login onto PlayStation Network or Xbox Live, and look over the newly released Character Pack 2 downloadable content. Unless, of course, you’re happy with the current roster of bots and multiplayer maps in the game. I mean, it’s totally cool if you are. It’s just…you know.
The new DLC introduces two new characters, Zeta Prime and Dead End, and five new multiplayer maps, which are as follows:
Escalation mode maps:
- Pulse is an Autobot map and allows players to take a journey inside the Decepticon giant Trypticon, challenging fans to explore his twisted interior corridors to overload the central power core located within.
- Static is a Decepticon map that thrusts players into a bevy of multi-level rooms riddled with environmental traps that can be used for their advantage.
Competitive multiplayer maps:
- Horizon is a picturesque statuary overlooking the war-torn Autobot home city of Iacon, complete with wide open courtyards and tight spaces for close quarters combat.
- Sector is an old maintenance facility used by the Decepticons during the legendary war and allows for open vehicle navigation, especially dive-bombing jets and those with long range weapons.
- Metropolis is set high above the clouds and drops players straight into the bombed out ruins of a high rise Iacon city building. Liquid energon drips from broken pipes and sparking electricity crackles from severed wires as it was once served as a fierce central battleground on Cybertron.
Thrown down $9.99/800 Microsoft Points, and the pack is yours. Speaking of which, anyone picked it up yet? Anyone buy the previous DLC pack? What do you think of the game’s DLC offerings so far?
Should the need arise, feel free to E-Mail me your tips, suggestions, and/or personal philosophies, or follow me on Twitter.

This game was a joke, where is the real honest Transformers game at? I am not kidding, I'm still waiting for it.

Yeah, this was a good game for the Transformers franchise. But, if you've done Gears, you've pretty much been there done that. It just pulls on the Transformers fans and the transformations were a nice touch. however, the maps feel a bit constrictive at times. But, worth the money.

What no love for the pc version of this game?

This dlc is coming just a tad to late. The lack of new games are coming to an end (for me) now that HAWX 2 and Birth By Sleep is out. Then next month, starts the wave after wave of new releases. Probably will buy the dlc when I revisit the game probably early next year.

@blind
Didnt say noone should have it, but they shouldnt charge so much for something that isnt even popular
ZyloWolfBane
Sucks that they make an effort to release content for a game that didnt do well when other companies shun DLC to popular titles constantly.
But in typical activision fashion they managed to overprice the content as well, if the game isnt doing well you dont go and give it the CoD treatment and expect people to roll over and accept it.

I think that it's great that they are still offering DLC packs, and that they continue to do so even though the game doesn't have an overwhelming amount of players. i honestly think this is one of THE most underrated games to date.... :(
