The giant-mech genre has been touch-and-go for awhile now with a few notable success and an equal amount of spectacular failures. With Front Mission Evolved, the latest in the long-running franchise, these towering, four-story-tall, death dealing robots are back. Will they conquer, or will they be destroyed?
"Focusing on a semi-realistic, military-style presentation, the mechanics of Evolved remain relatively intuitive. Guns and melee weapons can be equipped to each arm (controlled by the right and left triggers) while shoulder-mounted cannons – including missile launchers and grenades – are mapped to the right bumper. While the mechs, known to the series as Wanzers, are fairly slow at their causal pace, they’re able to dash quickly forward to clear longer distances. An optional agility backpack will increase the player’s speed and allow them to quickly maneuver in a full, 360-degree range of motion."
Jump in the pilot's seat with our Front Mission Evolved preview and blast away!

Wish somebody would make Chromehounds 2 already...

Chromehounds is by far the worst mech game ever or at least i've ever played....or is it the worst title...well maybe both..saying that name makes laugh.

not gona lie, being an old school armored core player this game looks really good since the crack versions of ac where it's just litteraly speed and nothing to do with tactics.
but because im buying reach and not willing to waste money on a game again (thank you starcraft 2, aliens vs predator, and the other game i bought for 69 that was so damn bad that i am repressing the memory of it) i refuse to take a stab at another new game until player reviews come out as site reviews tend to be to bias in select areas.

I'm broke, have no money for this. Went for Valkyria Chronicles 2. Now if this was a Strategy Mech (like the series mostly has been), then I would bought it day 1.

Taking it from a strategy series to an armored core wannabe is an insult, stop changing genres to appease the sub-section of gamers thats never even heard of the series before.
You'll make more money pleasing the fanbase you started with morons!

Love this genre... Shame few devs seem to be able to do it justice. Hope this is a good offering, but time will tell.
