This is friendly (extra early morning) reminder that Epic Games’ Gears of War 2 Labor Day multiplayer event begins…well, right now! Through September 7, Gears-heads will enjoy 25x XP for all gametypes, including Horde. You wanna level up right quick? Hope so, because you have no choice.

Speaking of Horde, a very special change has been made, and you can thank the fine folks over at X-Play for inspiring it, and that is all drone and grenadier weapons have been replaced with, you guessed it, Torque Bows. In other words, Torque Bow Tag is a reality! You’re welcome.
Other multiplayer/Horde changes includes gold Lancers and Hammerbursts, and nerfed melee attacks (so three hits needed instead of two), but let’s be honest, it’s really all about the Torque Bow Tag, am I right?
Be sure to check back later in the day to share your thoughts on Torque Bow Tag, and to rally for it to be an official mode in Gears of War 3. Don’t know if that’s even doable, but it’s a worth a shot.

Will you guys keep us posted on the next EXP BOOST for Gears 2?
'Cuz that'd be REALLY helpful to me, and I'm sure for a lot of other people, who aren't as plugged into the official Gears 2 forums as some other people are.
I've been reading Cliff Bleszinski's tweets about there being another EXP BOOST [30xp?] if Raam wins [a round/match? of] Best Videogame Villain on Gamespot's website..
But yes, it'd be awesome if you guys keep us posted on the next EXP Boost.
