Ubisoft Reveals Pax Lineup

Ubisoft revealed its Pax 2010 lineup this morning, and it includes the first Ubisoft Kinect games that are playable by the public. Ubisoft will have three booths at the show (exhibit spaces: 632, 622 and 712) and will be showing some never-before-played Kinect titles Child of Eden and H.A.W.X 2 multiplayer, as well as giving the public a "sneak peak of Outland." Non-Kinect Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood will be on display as well.

Personally, I'm most interested in Child of Eden. I saw it demo'ed at E3, and the game was difficult-to-explain but impossible to deny. Imagine Rez, but controlled by your body movements. Abstract gaming FTW, people!

Are you going to be at Pax? If so, I'll be around. Come say hi!

Ubisoft just give us a new Rainbow Six Vegas! That was probably the most realistic shooter ever! (BFBC2 is for wars) Armour, so much character customization, so many damn guns. Man...when will they put out a good game? Still so many people play R6V2. I just hope they make a third. No one gives a damn about Assassins Creed.

First Kinect games playable to the public? Uh what? I guess G4 didn't hear about the Kinect tour going across the country all summer, the 13 Macy's stores, 4 Microsoft Stores, and the Mall of America which have all had publicly available Kinect demo stations for over 2 months. Then of course there were the publicly available Comic Con demo stations, Blogher convention in NYC, the two galleries in the UK that MS bought out to demonstrate Kinect, the Gamescom convention, the Anime convention in Hong Kong, etc. Yeah this is the first public demonstration of Kinect, uh sure.....

Ubisoft, Oh dear Ubisoft. If you do not give me a new Rainbow Six, and FAST, I may just have to come over there and calmly explain why we all want a new Rainbow Six, not some Kinect games....And by calmly, I mean frantically.

I think there sould be more conventions the idea that you get to go have fun playing video games and getting info on your fav. new ones with other gamers. Why would you not want more.
