Adam now that Duke Nukem Forever is coming out finally, what are your thoughts now from when you last commented last year on it.

Dear Adam and the rest of the Masters of the Universe, Being a PS3 owner I was unaware Dead Rising 2 was comming to the PS3, but luckily had a house guest who had Case Zero on his XBox 360. I played it, beat it, and thoroughly enjoyed the story and game play. However, I was frustrated to find the acomplishments made in the prequel will carry over to the game proper especially since the game teaser wasn't on the PS3. With the news that Dead Rising 2's Case Zero selling 300,000+ DL's do you think is is a missed oppourtunity by Capcom to do double the business in both DLC & hard copy sales by essentially preaching to the converted instead of also using this perticular DLC to introduce a possibly somewhat new audience to previously unfamiliar IP?

I have you guys talk about kinect and how its looking like a letdown. But what if microsoft surprised us with triple A titles for kinect. I, personally, would buy kinect anytime if it worked (and was fun) with game franchises like call of duty, bioshock, nba 2k, batman: arkham asylum, mass effect, or halo. Do you guys think that microsoft could try to "catch up" to the wii if they use these games? Will the kinect sell better? what do you guys think?

With Portal 2 coming out next year and valve sudden support for the ps3 and with steam updates directly to t ps3 version of portal 2. Do you think that valve is testing out steam for the ps3. Meaning do you think steam will actually come to do ps3 like it did the mac and if so what does this mean for the ps3 and for sony as a whole.

Bioware CEO and Co-Founder Ray Muzyka said recently of videogames and storytelling, "In the last 30 years, we've kind of built the camera around which were telling stories, and I think the best is still ahead of us."

What do you guys think of this comment? How do you see interactive storytelling progressing once we have a handle on "the camera," so to speak? Do you think that the future is to overshadow all the accomplishments of the past, or are there stories and experiences up to present that will be known as "the classic works" (is that even possible???) of videogames?

For my two cents, I put in that games with Emergent storytelling (algorithmic and sandbox games like spore/gmod), Authored Storytelling(linear, games like mass effect/gta), and Local Storytelling (hardcore and casual multiplayer games) will begin to draw into separate camps and help define the differences between Games as toy and Games as art.

With Dead Rising 2 and the new $5 DR demo being released, it's gameplay, along with all other zombie games, really leaves me asking myself one thing:

What ever happened to zombie blood being able to infect you? Like, if you happen to get it in your mouth, eyes, or open wounds?

None of the zombie games ever use that aspect of zombie lore.. it just doesn't seem right to me to constantly have their blood splattering all over you, and not have the risk infection.

Curious if you all think such a gameplay mechanic could ever be implimented, and still make a fun to play game?

    ------

Personally, I would love a game with that ammount of "realism", instead of just zombie shooting gallery games. To me, none of these genre of games could ever truly be considered a survival horror without adding in that extra bit of risk.

With Metroid: Other M getting mixed reviews from the gaming media, do you guys think this hurts Nintendo's reputation in any way? Nintendo is known for having outstanding games when it comes to their core franchise games such as Mario and The Legend of Zelda. Since you guys at G4 gave Metroid : Other M a 2 out of 5, what do you think Nintendo and Team Ninja should have done to make the game more successful overall and how can they avoid something like this from happening again in Nintendo's future titles?

I was reading up on Fallout New Vegas and i seen that a bunch of different retailers had different add-ons that you get if you pre order the game threw them.I can understand the marketing ploy these retailers try to pull in people but what does the developer get out of it?Now to make it clear I'm not talking about special edition or anything like that I mean add ons that differ from store brand to store brand.

P.S. sorry for any misspells i blame the water here.Spell check can only take me so far.

I just recently posted on a thread my take on what makes a lead character "strong". I think that many tend to falsely assume that a character's ability to overcome impossible obstacles is a measure of their strength. However, it is the main objective in most games to do so (unlike narrative in film or literature) and so we cannot use the "badassness" of a chracter as a barometer for a character's strength. For example, many would think of Kratos as a strong character-and I would agree. However, is it his ability to tear a god in two, or is it the struggle he has throughout the series in dealing with the fact that he murdered his wife and child that makes him s strong character? I would say it's the latter.
What are your thoughts on how character development, narrative, etc. differ from that of more traditioal mediums and what makes for a strong lead character and story in a game?

First off new to feedback, so sorry if it's already been asked. Does gamefly pose a threat/paradigm shift in how consumers get games? I can't afford to rent let alone buy every game i want. I've had gamefly for 4 months and have tried games i never would've. I also find myself less interested in buying games. I have even sold some games i owned because i played them so little. Sorry for rambling feel free to edit or just ignore. Congrats on the award!!

So people have recently noticed, in morality games(Fallout/KOTOR/Fable[2]) some of my friends and family have had this debate: -Some games "evil" side isn't hard to act with and makes it more fun- ..or.. -Some games ask you to do some horrible things and make playing evil harder- Personally I enjoy the latter, but then again i acknowledge that I am a borderline sociopath. Which do you think makes the game more fun or challenging to play? Fun evil or morally challenging evil?

all the events happening this week including the release of Metroid: the other m. this question has nothing to do with it. Would you like to see companies putting entire series in one collectors edition. other than mega man series, is their a series you would want that can be bought in one set?

First of all I'd just like to say that I enjoy your inteligent conversations on the course that games have now taken in mainstream entertainment. Secondly, one game I have been following since last E3 was DC Universe Online. I live in New York and when NYCC came around last year they had the alpha of the game to play on the show floor I was beside myself. The panel that SOE had was more cryptic than informative, but the meet and greet with the creators afterwards was a treat (including Jim Lee and Marv Wolfman). This year I was fortunate enough to attend E3 and see how the game has evolved and changed over the course of two years. My first question is, what is your opinion on the game? And is it often that developers change their scope or drop gameplay mechanics during the course of development that possibly so much time and effort might have been spent on. And this as a quick aside I am a huge Highlander fan and Eidos was supposedly in development of a game back in 2007 the domain is still up but no info is on it at all including a preorder on amazon which has yet to be taken down, any thoughts? the site is http://www.highlanderthegame.c om/
Thanks allot hope yo hear from you.
