This Samsung ad looks a lot like a certain first-person-shooter starring Master Chief... If only he left his helmet on. If you were wondering what a big budget Halo movie might look like, though, the commercial below gives you a pretty good idea.

I'm just curious as to why they would try to replicate Master Chief into their phone commercial? Do they actually think we're that stupid - that if we see MC with their phone we'll just go out and buy it?
That was rhetorical. Of course they do.

Chantler, if you don't want to waste your "brain power" on a topic you feel isn't worth your time, why do you feel the need to comment on it?

It's just a commercial that kinda looks Halo-ish... Who the hell cares? Why would you waist your time and brain power over something like this. Either you liked it or you didn't, in a few months Samsung will have a new one out and then you can all needlessly pick that one apart.

Besides the overly obvious similarities with the armour, there's nothing else here to tie this to Halo. I'm not really sure what audience they're trying to appeal to really... Halo fans will pass it off as rubbish, while anyone else will think, "Ok, SciFi theme, with flying crustaceans... wtf."

Their only making the halo inspired phone because Halo reach is coming out and they want Gamers like me to buy there crappy phone. Think before you make commercial about games.
