Glen McCracken is hero to hippies. The Modern Warfare 2 player has set an interesting goal for himself. McCracken is going for level 70 in the game, without killing a single person. He gains experience through securing flags in Domination, but also plays Demolition and Team Deathmatch as well. Right now, Glen is level 11, with 272 deaths and zero kills.
At first, McCracken used riot shields and flash grenades, but those have the potential to kill another player, so he has since eschewed them in favor of no weapons at all.
"I've already hit Prestige five times. I thought it would be something interesting to do," Glen told Game Informer. "It definitely gives you a different perspective on the game, and it's fun and challenging."
I admire gamers who set unique objectives in games, whether it's murdering everyone in Fallout 3 or playing a violence based game like Modern Warfare 2 without killing anyone... on the other hand, I've never had McCracken (tag: Mr_No_Kills on PS3) on my team in a Deathmatch game. I might feel a little differently about him in that case. But even if he annoys a few teammates along the way, if McCracken is able to achieve level 70 with no-kills it will be a gaming triumph.

he probably gonna get lots of assists and play objective games to get objective points like defusing and arming the bomb and such

This is one of the most ingenious ways to play MW2. I've seen knifers, people who only kill with grenade launchers, the handguns-only clan "The Agency", and much more, but I would have never have thought about playing the game like this. After a while, it gets boring, so I guess some people find interesting ways to play.

he should try out defusing and planting bomb at search and destroy with his buddies killing other players. You get a ton of EX for defusing and planting in search and destroy.

Why would he forgo the riot shield? It's not like it FORCES him to kill people. He might get an accidental kill with a flash though.

He xould play headquarters i guess and trow stun or flash grenades to get assist... it will take a long time though lol

I guess he could do it using match bonus, HQ captures, HQ, Domonation... However Does he count shooting a chopper down as a kill? I know the sentry gun and UAV are fair game. Also smashing tactical insertions gets a nice bonus. I guess this could work. however COD 8 may be out before he hits 70.

I think this is awesome. He's trying something different, and I don't see anyone else saying that they have tried this. They just run around and hide and kill. This guy is trying to extend his gaming experience and good for him. Angelicsin87, so you know, the game does not give you exp no matter what. I have been thrown into several games that ended right away and have recieved zero exp. It all depends on the amount of time that you are in that match. The game does reward you for haveing the most deaths and so forth. Also if you read the intire article you would know that he plays Domination, Demolition which gives you a lot of points for doing just the objective. Acutually you get more points for capturing a flag and holding onto it than if you are just sitting in a corner racking up kills. The Team Deathmatch I would say he is getting points just for dying. Which is possible cause I remember as a beginner that I died a lot and recieved ample points for it. Although I am sure he does not do this often, because it would take a lot more time to get exp for dying than for capturing the flag. Either way, good for him. I may have to do this soon just to see how fun it is.

Anyway, Ive gotten bored and taken new approaches to a game. one being to not skill up at all in fable one to stay young, then donating to the well that makes you 10 years younger to see if it would make me 8-10 years old again on Fable 1, but sadly, my game was deleted by a little brother. This goal though... sounds... particularly, I dunno, boring, unless you have some kind of fetish for capture the flag.

It's seems that Mr_No_Kills is no longer on PS3 (unless it's posted wrong), I wanted to form a "No Kill" team with him just to see how it went. I anyone else is interested in joining me? My PSN ID is "Pasta_Waffle" for those interested, or at least curious.
