Dragon Age: Origins fans looking for a reason to jump back into BioWare’s epic fantasy RPG will have one soon enough as a new batch of downloadable content has just been announced that will serve as the “dramatic conclusion to the Origins storyline.”
“Witch Hunt” takes place almost a year after the conclusion of Origins, and finds players tracking down Morrigan, who is rumored to have returned to Ferelden after having mysteriously disappeared. Players will be able to import their Origins or Awakening characters for the new adventure, or start from scratch with a new one.
The DLC will be available for $6.99 on PlayStation Network, or 560 Microsoft/BioWare Points September 7.

Okay. I recently just bought this DLC and haven't played it. But from what I've read about it this DLC is not just about find out what happened, or what's been going on, with Morrigan. But also what you can expect to see in Dragon Age 2, which I am totally stoked for and can't wait to see what they have done with. :D

OK I played this DLC and This does have some SPOILERS so be warned. It was just plain bad bad bad there was No challenge to it and it was a basic cake walk it was like throwing 7 dollars out the window, It does not tie up any loose ends and it assume you did not take her up on her offer to perform the ritual. The 3 Companions you get a Dog, Elf warrior and Human mage are just boring they had no personality to them what so every to them.

That's just too funny. On the last Dragon Age 2 news board their was like... three people complaining that Bioware wasn't releasing more DA:Origins DLC before the release of DA2. And now lookie lookie what we have here.

Thank you Bioware. When this game came out I was addicted to it. I played it for hours and when I wasn't playing I was talking about it. I loved the story and the relationships with all the party members. I found the interactions with Morrigan my favorite. I am so excited to see a "dramatic ending" to the origins storyline. I hope Morrigan is just as feisty as ever. I am so excited!

Will I get it? Damn straight. Pretty much a no brainer for me. Some like dlc, some hate it, it's a love/hate thing. Some think it should all be on the disc when you buy it, what they don't understand is it's a portal to expanding the game, or certain branches of the game. It's also a great way to make money if the actual game sold really well, lol. I know that, heck, it's common sense, but, it still is a good way to expand on secondary stories that you couldn't have in the original game, or shouldn't because it would seem out of place.
Me, I love dlc, as long as it seems worth the price and whatnot. I always get a bit giddy when I see some new dlc announced, for a game that I really liked. I liked Bioshock 2, but as far as the dlc for that, the single player dlc, ehh...I dunno yet.

A pack that actually deals with one of the major points of the original story, and it's morrigan too. Good show Bioware. I wasn't much into most the other DLC packs for DA, but this one might be different.

Looking forward to getting more out of the Morigan story. I want to see what kind of freaky Demon-Human-Dwarf child I had :P
I rather doubt to see much of the child if any, but it would be interesting.
