BioWare answered two key questions regarding the previously announced Lair of the Shadowbroker downloadable content for Mass Effect 2: the release date and the price.
The Lair of the Shadowbroker will land on PC and Xbox 360 September 7 for 800 BioWare/Microsoft Points. Players will have the chance to explore Illium and the shadowbroker’s secret lair, as well as gain access to the Shadow Broker intel center, new research, five new achievements.

This has been the best DLC so far. Besides the solid story, unique setting and some epics batlles, this Dlc is great because it fits perfectly within the world. Instead of going off to some remote planet, to deal with another cerberus screw up, we get to continue Liara's storyline and learn more about this shadow broker we have been hearing about from ME1. highly recommend this buy. OH and as an added bonus they didnt include that annoying hover tank. need i say more?

Can anyone that has this DLC tell me if you find out who the Shadow Broker is? Please don't tell me who it is, just whether you find out.

I have not even picked up the game since I played thorough it and bought the last DLC and barely started it.
While I love ME and ME2, the extra content feels like a peck on the cheek 2 months after an expensive dinner.
Release the DLC more timely, because somewhere under a ton of DVDs is a copy of ME2, collecting dust!!!!

Notice that they gave away a lot of free DLC to the Cerberus members at the beginning but not anymore? *sigh* Another DLC I won't be getting it seems. :(

More DLC 360 fans are going to have to pay for that PS3 fans are just going to get when the game comes out on PS3 in janurary.

Wow 800 points is a lot higher then the 560 I payed for the other DLC missions. I hope this doesnt turn out like those other ones where its only a 30 minute stroll and its done. Personally I have not been a fan of anything that has come out for ME2 since release but I do think it was a lot better then what came out during ME1.

I think now I will replay ME2 again but I will actually stay faithful to Liara and see what happens. It is good to see Bioware continue to support ME2 with such great DLC, although I think we will see a drop off by the time DA2 comes out.

People seem to think that the PS3 version of Mass Effect will include elements or missions of the first Mass Effect. I say that will NOT happen because Microsoft owns the rights to everything that is Mass Effect 1. Now unless Sony pays Microsoft A LOT of money, it's not going to happen. I cannot wait until this comes out...what happens if I had a romance with Miranda and my original romance was with Liara?

I have enjoyed all of the DLC Bioware has released for ME and ME2. It might be a bit pricey for the length, but if it costs me a few more bucks to go back into a world I ( like many of you) enjoy, I will gladly play it. Heck - I played the first game almost 20 times; I can pay a few bucks for a new adventure with new choices and dialogue. I'm getting it as soon as it comes out.

i was playing ME2 back in July when i saw that this DLC was coming out. I was about to go to Ilium so i decided to just put my playthrough on hold til this DLC came out. Glad to see a release date finally : )

I have been waiting for this DLC since I heard rumors about a Liara return. (My female Shepard wants her girl back). I do hope that it has decent length to it and Liara becomes a permanent squad member after the mission(s). Now all we need is a Mass Effect customization pack, something to do on the Normandy or in and around ports. I am thinking, add a pool table some place on the Normandy or add a hot tub and have it so you can use it after a long hard mission. (mmmm, Liara or Miranda in a bikini) or at least more interactive elements to the ship and other places.
