SEGA announced today that gamers eager to get their cybernetic-loving hands on the fast paced sci-fi shooters Vanquish prior to its release will have their chance when the demo hits the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live on August 31.
The demo, entitled Velocity Attack, plays out on a massive Russian space station where players will take on waves of killer robots, have the chance to hijack some giant mechs called “Walkers,” and battle against a boss named Argus.
The demo will hopefully provide a nice taste of what players can expect when Vanquish ships on October 19. I’m still not totally sold on the game at this point, but maybe some solid hands-on time will change that. What about you? Looking forward to Vanquish, or still not sure?

Played this at E3 and I have to tell you... EPIC. You have to play it for yourself. Cover system worked great. And the visuals alone were enough to make my eyes melt. Simply amazing.
But now I'm blind and can't play games anymore..

Can't wait, I'm growing tired of standard shooters. I need to spice. Hopefully my excitement is justified.

if it's from the studio who gave us Bayonetta, I'm pretty sure this game will be crazy, and have a lot of WTF moments like Bayonetta did!! When I look at the game, I see the 3rd person cover action of Gears, but the fast paced Mech look and feel of Virtual On!! So to me that equals a game worth playing!!
