Blizzard Planning Big Diablo 3 News For BlizzCon This Year

You know what really gets me about this? It's not the fact that Blizzard has something to give us, or that that have anything at all to announce. It's the overwhelming amount of hate towards even the thought of a console version of Diablo 3. Now granted, I know and recognize that Blizzard is before anything else a PC developer these days. But remember all those great games Blizzard delivered on the console waaaaay before World of Warcraft was even a thought process running through those collective creative balls? You know a time when Primal rage was being released, so about the mid 90's. and then y'know Blizzard gave PS1 owners the chance to experience Diablo 1 on consoles. Now correct me if I'm wrong but the two biggest issues with it were the fact that there was no online play and that it took up 10 of the ps1 memory card's 15 blocks of memory... Now with that said, and given the fact that we are severely lacking in a dungeon crawling hack and slash romp on consoles (dark kingdom aside....... for a host of reasons). Why wouldn't Blizzard decide to bring Diablo back to consoles? It's a wise business move, all the previous issues are clearly gone. Now thumb me down if you want, I care not. I'm merely saying that, with every reason Diablo 2 skipped consoles, Diablo 3 has every right to return to them. Again, all you arrogant PC fanboys feel free to thumb this down. But the end result being, if Blizzard and it's parent company, Activision, are as really into the money as we all keep saying, Diablo 3 will appear on console. Not to mention the fact that Blizzard seems like the type tha if they are only going to announce a class/race/game mode, they would just wait until Blizzcon itself to say so.

A forewarning of an announcement usually heralds something bigger than a class announcement (well not 100% of the time, but y'know, there's this thing called hope). And in hoping for a console version of this amazing franchise, I don't see where all the hate comes from. Shouldn't everyone have an equal opportunity to play such a game? Besides, not everyone is into PC gaming, granted it looks beautiful as all hell, but not everyone can afford to upgrade their system every time a new game is released. And with a title such as this dropping, a company such as Blizzard would be ignorant to ignore the vast amount of cash a console version could potentially offer. So you know what, stop the hate man, it's pointless. Sure good titles cross platforms here and there. Look at Left 4 Dead, Gears of War, Halo, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy 7, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and every other game that has seen both sides of the gaming community (you're welcome for a couple of those titles btw PC fanboys). So you know what, go screw yourself if you wanna hate and yell "EXCLUSIVE!" at the the top of your lungs. Better titles have made the gap quite well enough. Now granted it may not be as good as your cherished PC version, but at least we'll be able to loot, hack/slash, and use all the mana we want.

There's still some amazing PC exclusives anyway, why the hell do y'all even care in the first place.... Oh wait, yea PC fanboy, the biggest crybaby on the entire planet. I don't wanna hate, because I actually enjoy PC gaming as much as the next person. But if you want to hate to the point of say "F consoles"... Do me a favor, if you own an XBox 360, PS3, Wii, N64, SNES, Genesis, NES, Atari 2600, Dreamcast, Saturn, etc... just f'n sell it if you wanna be that much of a d!ck about console content, seriously. Some of this stuff does work out well on a console, really it does. I'm sorry consoles weren't up to par with a PC that cost a few grand a decade or so ago, not my problem. But in a day and age where even companies like Valve see the value in a console (namely the PS3, not trying to be fanboy, but who in the heck would have thought it!), everything should at least be given a fair shot in the collective imagination before being put through such intense flames as the hate spewed towards the consoles by PC lovers. Honestly man, don't we, as humans, have better things to do than sit here and hate upon one another for having hope, dreams, or ideas? Fanboyism is nothing but a new age version of racism... Now I'm not trying to belittle anything or anyone by saying as such... but really... hating one person/console/idea for the lone fact of it being different that what you think/believe, or because it's not like you.... what else would you even be able to call it?

Good games are good game, I don't care where or how they're found. Play 'em, they rock. Don't play 'em and miss out, it's your choice. But to hate on someone because of what they play on.... lmao...
