Everyone's most anticipated game, Portal 2, has a release date. The game is coming out on February 9.
That's not the only news we have about the brain-bending first person puzzle game. We've also learned the name of the person behind the voice of the robot Wheately featured in this trailer:
Wheatley will be played by Stephen Merchant. Merchant was one of the co-creators of the British version of The Office, as well as appearing in Extras and other British comedy shows. He is quite awesome, I think you will agree, especially in robot form.

Huh, that's funny; I would have placed Wheatley's voice for Australian, not British. I guess that's just me, though.
Also, for those who like Portal, the demo for the Unreal mod "Hazard: The Journey of Life" will tide you over until February... Enjoy!

Didnt you hear? PS3 Is supporting all of that. That's why Valve said that the PS3 version of Portal 2 is going to be the best console version.

Stephen Merchant is hilarious as the agent in Extras. The scene where he's trying to figure out what time it is in LA is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
That being said...I'm still not sure this game is going to be great. They expended so many great puzzles already...what could be left? And we're used to paying about $15 for a Portal game...not $60. So, no, this isn't my most anticipated game. Not by a long shot.

I wonder if they will release Portal on PSN before Portal 2 comes out on PS3? I hope so, it will give me another reason to play again before Portal 2!!

What could make Portal 2 even better on the consoles? An updated (new maps and class upgrades that the PC has) and improved version of Team Fortress 2. That would definitely make it worth $60.

Most anticipated? I don't think so. Valve ruined their reputation with the Steam virus on PC so it's going to take a lot of work and plenty of time before I feel the need to support them again.

i was thinking about getting robot legs. it's a risky operation but it'll be worth it.

as excited as I am for this, that is a...rather huge amount of games coming within those first 4 months and I hope people get lots of money to get them all (much less time to play them all)
