Capcom today announced a couple new characters in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: Viewtiful Joe is coming to the game, as is Marvel's Dormammu. The pair joins Ryu, Wolverine, Morrigan, Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Felicia, Chun-Li, Doctor Doom, Chris Redfield, Thor, Trish, Super-Skrull, Amaterasu, Deadpool and Dante in the game, whcih is scheduled for Xbox 360 and PS3 in Spring 2011.
But you seriously need to see it in action instead of reading about it:

Tell you what would be cool...a Brood alien (Marvel)! Have a move that would lay eggs into the opponent mouth...Alien baby pops out....grows into a brood version of the enemy!....original Brood you had dies...you control new Brood that has all the moves as the absorbed enemy (plus the egg move)...You keep new brood until you choose to do an "egg attack" again on a different opponent! To robots (if any in the game), the"Egg attack" only does damage....no copy.
Now that would be hot...to have a chance to copy your opponent's character's!!! That would be a way to have your 2 wolverines on the screen again (like MVC2)....instead of Bone claw and Steel claw (hopefully that will be a uniform change not 2 characters), you can have Wolverine and Brood-Wolverine!!!
They won't do it, but it shore would be nice... Capcom needs to call me before they make great games like this...my ideas can make the game even better..LOL!

I want Guile to be in the game. Captain America shouldn't be the only one reppin for the USA. AMERICUUUUH F#$k YEAH!

once again I DEMAND GAMBIT BE ADDED IN. i know im not alone in this but gambit never gets any love. hes only been playable in a small amount of games and most of them were for snes and nes. when will there finally be some love for gambit.

What's the deal with the licensing over there for Marvel Characters?? Super Skrull, Thor, and Deadpool are awesome additions. But the Marvel Universe is way too big, to not have some new blood in one of these games. I mean why not include other characters besides the original Avengers and the same Xmen all the time?? Black Panther, The Thing, Human Torch, Beast(Xmen...I know, but still he would be awesome), Daredevil, The Punisher...!! All would be awesome characters to see in the game. Not saying this won't be a good game, I just think it would be nice change it up a little bit and bulk up the roster. But I'm still gonna buy this once it comes out!!

i'm happy about viewtful joe actually. that seems to be the general consensus.
but i'm still holding out for silver surfer, iceman, and some characters that will truly be shocking (as well as accepted additions...lets be frank, no one is really happy Trish is in this game.)

wow, he just made the roster like 20x better. MvC line up is not that good this time around. But it's cause it's been so long and all the HUGE names have been used and bigger names that are yes still BIG NAMES but not as huge as the "all stars" you could say. Still wish The Darkness could of been in this one.
