Rock Band 3

The slow trickle of information continues -- At the Gamescom 2010 show today, Harmonix released the names of a bunch of tracks that will be playable in Rock Band 3 when it comes out on October 26. Because this is a European show, the track list highlights artists from all over the world, including Jamaica's Bob Marley and Germany's Rammstein.

Here's the list:

  • Bob Marley & The Wailers, “Get Up, Stand Up” (Jamaica)
  • INXS, “Need You Tonight” (Australia)
  • Poni Hoax, "Antibodies" (France)
  • Rammstein, "Du Hast" in German (Germany)
  • Roxette, "The Look" (Sweden)
  • Tokio Hotel, "Humanoid" (Germany)
  • HIM, “Killing Loneliness” (Finland)
  • Maná, “Oye Mi Amor” in Spanish (Mexico)
  • Slipknot, “Before I Forget” (United States)
  • War, “Low Rider” (United States

No offense to fans of War, but I have a feeling "Low Rider" will be Rock Band 3's drunken party, "Please don't play that song again!" anthem. Also: Roxette? Seriously?
