For those who have been putting off picking up DICE’s hit military shooter Battlefield: Bad Company 2 in the hopes that some—oh, I don’t know—ultimate edition would be released down the line it appears that your foresight will be rewarded in a few weeks, when EA releases the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Ultimate Edition.
According to Amazon, the ultimate edition, which releases on August 31, will include the crazy popular downloadable title Battlefield 1943, the four-player co-op expansion Onslaught Mode, Limited Edition unlocks, and all the VIP map packs, all for $60.
Clearly, if you haven’t picked up Bad Company 2 yet, now would be the time. And then if you find yourself craving even more Battlefield, you can pick up the limited edition of Medal of Honor, and gain access to the Battlefield 3 beta when it starts somewhere down the road. At least that’s the advice passed along to me by Stephen “All Battlefield, all the time, baby!” Johnson.

i honestly dont find this to be very surprising, it was going to happen eventually. Im just happy it didnt include anything for the vietnam expansion otherwise i would be a bit upset. And there was a way to get the specact kits for free atleast if you lived in america

I still think it's total crap that people that wait to get the game get anything that came out later !!FOR FREE!! They should 1943 and that's about it. At least this is not as big a explicit cussing load of crap that Capcom did with RE5 gold edition/move support.

No lag for me on the PS3 version.So I enjoy taking out all those that attach Magnum to there weapons!

I think maybe the lag issue isnt that you have a bad connection or ISP. but maybe your connection is TOO good.
You have upload and download speeds, but when your upload speed is faster or close to the same speed as the Dl speed, you get people who have faster download speeds can actually see you before you see them. its minute enough where there wont be lag but others will have a significant advantage.
Watch the replays carefully, like when you know youre shooting but in the replay NO bullets even have come out of your gun. or stabbing, you know you stabbed because you saw it on your screen, but in their replay, no motion to stab.

im just bought bad company 2 last week for 40$ and im not mad about this deal i just hate intensly with a passion the dlc dice released for this game. i wasted 20$ more for onslaught which shouldve been included in the damn game and that damn kiit upgrades.i mean 5 f-ing dollars just to see your guy in a different color costume? and it unlocks the best gun in every class if you didnt have it and makes it "camoflauged" its bullcrap. and the other dlc which is the short cut pack. are you serious? 15$just for crap that you can unlock later on thats retarded dice let me down on everything besides the map packs

I really don't know what you guys are talking about. I think I've only experienced one or two instances of lag that was so bad I had to stop playing(or at all). I play quite a bit, and it plays like a dream.

I agree with those who complain about the lag. It ruins the game for me. I enjoyed playing the game when it first came out but the lag is horrible now. I guess it's a issue with EA servers because I was playing the 1943 demo and the lag was the same as when playing BFBC2. I think that those who play the game know what I am talking about. You are trying to get through a door and then, all of a sudden you are four feet back from when you were a second ago and then you are to right of said door. This kind of lag makes shooting anyone nearly impossible. I have no faith in EA shooters and that's a shame because I thought that BFBC2 was a great idea but it is poorly executed.

It's a damn shame really. How can EA get away with this? First of all onslaught mode is already on EVERY SINGLE Battlefield Bad Company 2 disk. If you buy the mode from psn or xbl, you're basically buying an unlock code. The VIP map packs are already on the disk too, DICE and EA just waited a couple months to release them because they were using it as a cover-up for not making new maps. The only really plus to this is that it comes with 1943. This is ridiculous and I am completely appalled by the business practices used by EA and DICE. Battlefield is a great game, but the developers need to know that people like me hate it when they nickel and dime us with cheap "VIP" code bullshiz and other cheap dlc that should have been on the disk in the first place. Ridiculous

love battlefeild games... but lately it seems I cant kill anyone even on hardcore, the lag is tremendous. everyone is a sniper at all times but me! mortar, mortar, snipe, snipe, mortar, procimity, snipe, mortar.
Thanks people who do this youre as bad as marathon, lightweight, commandos in duty aka MLC pros. I HATE U you ruin great games every time.

i have battle field bad company 2 for the pc and its super laggy because my laptop sucks but this looks like what its going to take to get me to buy it for the console and truly enjoy it good for you EA.
