Gearbox Software today disclosed the first details about the fourth downloadable content pack for their stylish and addictive shooter Borderlands, the awesomely titled Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution, which is set for release next month.
In the DLC, players assume the roles of four “infamous vault hunters” who “find themselves caught in the crosshairs of a deadly civil war between the Hyperion Corporation’s well-armed armadas and the ever-amassing army of homicidal Claptraps.” Oh, and the robot revolution is being headed by none other than “the dastardly kung-fu expert, the Claptrap known only as Ninja Assassin.” Yeah. I thought you'd like that.
Players can look forward to 20 new missions, 10 more skill points, three more backpack slots, new boss battles, and new “Claptrap-ified” enemies such as crab-traps, rakk-traps and skag-trapps when Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution releases in September for $9.99 on PlayStation Network and 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live Marketplace.

Hell Yeah! Ive been waiting for the announcement of a new DLC for Borderlands and this DLC sound awesome! will there be new weapons also? :D

With the exception of Moxxi, all the other DLC has been totally worth the money, especially General Knoxx. Count me in....

I love GearBox!! These developers know how to please the fans and keep fresh content coming to an awesome gaming experience! And at $9.99/800 MS points, hee hee, well it sure beats the hell out of the overpriced recycled content out there for COD:MW2!
Still working on the "GrindDome" missions, but everything else is done, done and done! New quests and what-not are just what this game needs! Well, that and a patch to nuke MODDED content!
MODDERS suck and ruin the experience for everyone!!

It seems like its been forever since Knoxx. Claptrap is one of my favorite game characters, so this should be awesome.

(sarcastically) This is great news for the folks who still have the game. Unfortunately I bought it on release, beat it twice, downloaded the first dlc, and got a corrupt save file!!! (steaming mad) Then because I thought I was smart, I always have multiple saves. Wrong again, the first time it auto-saved it corrupted that file too!!! I gave up and moved on.
It really is a great game, I just couldn't bring myself to continue after that. This just goes to show you how a good game can be ruined by one bug. The rest of you are lucky, have fun with it.

I was just thinking the other day that they could/should have more, and lookey here.
I love this game. And i also like that they're giving the other companies some love. But i gotta say, it might have to sit idly by until i find time to play it, what with saving a doomed planet and all.
Oh yeah, and work.

the most recent DLC was good, the one w. krawmerax or however you spell it. but the game for the most part was a let down w. its simplicity. but its def addicting. hmmm we'll see about this DLC

....I'll be getting this slice of insane awesome-ocity the second it becomes available. My girlfriend and I LOVE playing Borderlands for the Co-Op, and we've really enjoyed all of the DLC so far, considering this next batch puts out favorite little mouthy r2-d2 knockoff center stage, it's going to be a doozy of a downloadable!

Good lord, I forgot that there was more DLC coming out for this game! I'm going to buy it for sure. I wonder how much business Gearbox will miss out on here because it's been a few months without any news about this at all and people forgot/got bored/traded the game in.
