Just a friendly reminder that two big pieces of downloadable content are now available on a PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Marketplace, and/or Steam near you: the demo for 2K Czech’s long anticipated mob sequel Mafia II and the Legends and Killers DLC for Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption.
We’ll have a First 15 of the Mafia II demo up in a little bit (with some impressions thrown in for good measure), and check back later in the day for footage of the Legends and Killers pack in action.
Anyone checked out the demo or the DLC yet? What are your impressions so far?

I like the open game consept, I think mafia 2 will be better than rdr because its like another grand theft auto. The only thing im worried about is the environment of the game, the missions

Red Dead DLC is great, 9 new maps, a new weapon, and a few upgrades. worth 10%

I was correct, this demo is avail to PSN+ memebers only. Now it begins just like XBL silver members the bulk of us are now 2nd class citizens....

I have had insomnia lately, so i was messing around on my Xbox, knowing that the Mafia 2 demo was going to be out. Checked the market at 6 AM, and it was up. Downloaded it. Loved it. The cover system was great, graphics were superb. And holy hell, using the tommy gun is supremely satisfying. I was walking around spraying bullets for the hell of it to see all the damage the bullets can do to the environment. So cool. I already have this game preordered. Only 14 more days

i looked for the RDR DLC in PSN store and it wasn't there. When i pop RDR in the ps3 and press start it said new dlc available .WTF

PSN updates aroud 6 PM EST every Tuesday. Though I have seen it update 1 hour early once before.

MAFIA 2 demo is great! My only Problem was why is it that we are in the next gen and still r having problems with swimming.Exp(Red Dead,Mafia 2)i mean come on.Other then that the game looks great.

Yeah the DLC for Red Dead was pretty good. I didn't really want to pay 10 bucks, but you get a fair amount of content for what you pay for. (cough MW 2 map packs cough) But I really can't wait for the next one so I can destroy my friends in poker and horse racing.
