IO Interactive’s forthcoming shooter Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is receiving all manner of pre-order love from four major retailers, and today not only brings details but four new trailers for each bonus.
Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, and Walmart have their own unique bonuses, and, interestingly, their own trailers for said bonuses as well. And would you look at that? Here they are!
GameStop - Greed Betrayal and Revenge Multiplayer Pack
Exclusive Multiplayer Map: The Radio Tower - Glazer, the Expats crime boss, has been hired to collect dirty cash from an abandoned factory in the run down area of Shanghai where old communist monuments are soon to be demolished. It is the perfect location for a deal to go down and everyone will need to be ready to work together and be prepared to get in & out quickly with the $4 Million.
Best Buy Alliance Assault Multiplayer Pack
Eight Chinese costume masks - The last thing any would-be criminal wants is for someone to identify them. Use one of the eight stolen masks to ensure you remain unidentified during the heist – keep your friends close – but your enemies closer. Play your cards close to the vest and see how things work out.
Amazon - Comic Preview Pack
Walmart - Fragile Alliance Strategy Pack
Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days Wal-Mart Pre-Order Trailer »
Fragile Alliance Strategy Guide – featuring tips and tricks to help give you an edge over your teammates, your opponents and everyone else involved for that matter. Get the inside information before anyone else gets in on the job.
So how do these rank on the pre-order bonus scale (1-25)?
Should the need arise, feel free to E-Mail me your tips, suggestions, and/or personal philosophies, or follow me on Twitter.

Why is Wii listed as a tag?

Are you kidding me?
These are Pre Order Bonuses?
Multiplayer Map - 10/25
Chinese Masks - 6/25
Comic Book Preview - negative5/25
'Fragil Alliance' Strat Guide - 0/25
I wish games would stop giving 'pre order bonuses' like strat guides and comic book previews. If I had ANY interest in buying the comic, I would buy the comic. They aren't that expensive (although if anything like the ME2 Comics they are short, sucky and worthless). And how do you give a start guide for mutliplayer aspect where the only real thing you have to worry about is your team mates killing you. You can't 'strat' that.
Strat Guides are also useless because the internet has all the info within a matter of hours. The only games I buy Strat Guides for are GTA style games where I know there is Random Packages throughout the world and the Strat Guides give me a printed map of where they are I can cross off. (instead of lugging my lap top around)
Such a bad game anyway. Kane and Lynch was horrible (G4TV even said so on X-Play years ago) The Scene's titles spoil the story for ya and the dialogwas really really poorly written. Not to mention you had to do things a specific un anouced way or else a sniper killed ya, or a truck murdered ya or something stupid like that. (Especially the bank scene and escape scene with the van)
K&L is the only game I bought from GameCrazy, took home, played a few hours of, and traded it in same day because it was soooooooooo bad.
I expect K&L2 to suck JUST as much and I hope to god the idoits who approved K&L2 lose their job.
What's wrong with the gaming Community?
Also Pre-Order DLC should be something that makes me WANT to get the game on release day, if I was excited for this game none of these Bonuses would make me want the game on release day if I knew I could get it within a month or two via GameFly (though people don't usually get the new games too quick anyway)

Does it come with less suck than the demo ? I was looking forward to this game and then I played that aweful demo. Did I mention that the demo was really bad ?

Yeah I think I will get it at best buy sometime later.

I hope the multi-retailer pre-order bonus trend dies fast.
Luckily, in regards to K&L2 there's no competition on which one of these is the better bonus, it's GameStop's. Ironically, most people will buy this game from GameStop, as a used title.

too bad this is an awful game

Neat way to sell everything and simultaneously tell everyone about what kinds of DLC should be expected. I think I like it though I still don't think I'll preorder K&L any time soon (looks neat though & the first one is...the one this one is a sequel to, I guess...)...>_>

The exclusive multiplayer map is the only bonus that appeals to me.
