Activision announced during its second quarter 2010 report that it has pushed back the release for the upcoming reboot True Crime: Hong Kong into 2011.

Echoing Electronic Arts’ explanation for the delay of Crysis 2, Activision said pushing back True Crime’s release wii “give the development team more time to deliver the high-quality entertainment experience they envision for the game.”

The Q2 2010 investor call is currently underway, so stay tuned for more details.
