Public Enemy, NAS, DJ Khaled, And Others Confirmed For Def Jam Rapstar

Def Jam Rapstar "Rap Party" Trailer »


 4MM Games, Terminal Reality, and Def Jam Interactive today announced seven new tracks and two new producers set to appear in Konami’s upcoming hip-hop-based music game, Def Jam Rapstar, including hits from Public Enemy, Nas, and DJ Khaled.



The newly announced tracks and producers (who will be contributing exclusive freestyle beats for the game) are as follows:

  • Diddy (Featuring The Notorious B.I.G., Lil’ Kim & The Lox) - "It’s All About The Benjamins (Remix)"
  • DJ Khaled (Featuring Akon, T.I., Rock Ross, Fat Joe, Baby & Lil’ Wayne) - "We Takin’ Over"
  • Method Man (Featuring Mary J. Blige) - "You’re All I Need/I’ll Be There For You"
  • Nas (Featuring Diddy) - "Hate Me Now"
  • Nelly - "Hot In Herre"
  • Public Enemy - "Fight The Power"
  • Yung Joc (Featuring Nitti) - "It’s Goin’ Down"

Producers:

  • Danja - "Nars"
  • Nitti Beats ' "Hand’s Up"

Konami announced last month that the game would also feature tracks from A Tribe Called Quest, LL Cool J, and Run DMC. The full game will feature over 40 classic hip-hop tracks out of the box when the game ships on October 5, with more to come later via downloadable content.

    The more I see and hear this I think it might be good. I mean its about time!! Don't get me wrong I like rock in all but its about time 4 something different when comes 2 music games.
