Just because you diehard Medal of Honor fans are currently enjoying the multiplayer beta for EA Los Ange…er, I mean, Danger Close Games’ upcoming reboot doesn’t mean you shouldn't start thinking about future military shooter betas. How else would you explain that EA has announced that those players who pick up the newly revealed Medal of Honor limited edition will also gain access to the multiplayer beta for DICE’s Battlefield 3? That's what I thought.

DICE’s hasn’t offered up many details about the third Battlefield game, other than that it will “blow people away.” Perhaps this latest announcement means more details will be inbound shortly. All we have to go on at this point is that EA mentions that people with start receiving beta invitations “within 12-months following the release of Medal of Honor.”

Battlefield 2 lovers have only been waiting five years for the third installment. What’s another several months of waiting in the grand scheme of things?
