Everything old is new again and this applies to entertainment more so than anything else. Case in point, the new movie remake of Clash of the Titans. Now, of course if you're going to do a CG-filled 3D blockbuster action movie, there's no better complement than a videogame tie-in.
And so it is that the world has been, unfortunately, introduced to Clash of the Titans: The Video Game and it's...a playable videogame! It shouldn't come as a shock that there aren't a lot of good things to say about the game, as movie-based games tend to be lackluster; however, Clash of the Titans goes above and beyond mediocre. If there's one thing Clash of the Titans does well, it is being a complete disaster. From Jason D'Aprile's review:
"Clash of the Titans is the worst kind of movie game. By looks alone, it could easily be mistaken for an early PS2 game, and the gameplay mechanics are lousy by any system’s standard. The game could have tried to provide a God of War alternative with some light RPG elements, but it missed every single element that makes a game worth playing including good gameplay and any sense of pacing. Even if you loved the movie, there’s not a single reason to pick up this game."

Well most movies that have games based off of the are semi decent. This game didn't even have that going for it. Surprised? I think not.

Can't G4 just replace bad game reviews with Hot Chicks with Guns? Or swords, relating to this specific game. Either that or a parody of the movie with chicks and zombies.

hahaha the movie was possibly the worst i've seen ever. It only generated money because there were no commercials making it intriguing so no one could tell how bad it was until they saw it. The fact that it was 3d meant it cost more to see, and it the 3d was terrible at best. you can tell just by looking at the game that it's right down there with the iron man videogames. Seriously though the riddick game came out on the original xbox so developers have had over half a decade to see what a good video game-tie-in looks like yet they still manage to fail on all fronts.
