This is the epitome of a web gaming rumor: Apparently, a reader of French gaming site PS3Gen saved some source code from Capcom's Japanese site and revealed the full roster of fighters coming to Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds.
Yeah, that's a lot of layers of "could be fake," but it seems like a plausible list. Check it out:
Marvel:
Spider-Man, Hulk, Wolverine, Mr Fantastic, Captain America, Iron Man, War Machine Elektra, Thor, X-23, Magneto, Dr Doom, Shuma-Gorath, Emma Frost, Deadpool, Super Skrull, Taskmaster, Juggernaut, She Hulk.
Capcom :
Ryu, Mike Haggar, Chuck, Spencer (Bionic Commando), Dante, Chris, Morrigan, Arthur, Amaterasu , Albert Wesker, Zero, Chun-li, Viewtiful Joe, Trish, Tron Bonne, Hsien-Ko, Akuma, Felicia.
I've consulted with a panel of experts and put this rumor through G4's Rumor-Tron 8000 super-computer, and have determined that there is an 43 percent chance this information is accurate. The Rumor-Tron just thinks this list is "bullsh*t," and refused to elaborate. I guess it's having a bad day.

Well for one, the game was only recently announced, so there's no way that there'd be a final roster yet. Second, Ryo had said in so many interviews that there will be no Fantastic 4, that'swhy they have Super Skrull. and 3rd, they have also said that they would like to add in characters that have been seen in the game in cutscenes and whatnot, and most of these weren't. That's why I believe this is fake when it comes to the characters not announced.

All signs tell me that hsi si probably fake; though their is the possibility it is true. I hope it's real simply for the fact that Hsien-ko is here, and she was hte one character I really want to see in this game from Capcom

Yeah, the list definatly not the full roster.
Possibly a fraction of the roster maybe?

This is a fake list for 2 reasons:
1. No Fantastic 4 characters will be in the game.
2. No Megaman.

i think this is fake because they should atleast mention the originals from first game and second like captain cammando, strider(thumbs up),jin, megaman, jambit and some from the two but come on thats jus a whole bunch of new characters. We need the classics

This fake none of the Fantasic Four will be playable and the list is missing, Thor and Amaterasu which are confirmed, and no Ken. I hope the real roster will have Captain Commando and Sagat.

I hope the isn't accurate, I was really hoping for Doctor Strange and some other characters who are under dogs from MARVEL and Capcom.
