As a companion to my post about Rock Band 3 from a few minutes ago, I want to let you know about a bunch of new tracks that were just revelaed for Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. I have to say I'm impressed. The tracks contain a couple of just re-recorded tracks from personal heroes of mine (The Runaways doing "Cherry Bomb" and Alice Cooper's amazing "No More Mr. Nice Guy") as well as songs from The Ramones, Blue Oyster Cult, Styx, and Bad Brains.
Overall, it's a hard-ass collection of songs from real rockers -- In the words of The Replacement (not announced for Guitar Hero), color me impressed. Full list is under the break.
- No More Mr. Nice Guy (Album Version) Alice Cooper
- Ties That Bind Alter Bridge
- Ravenous Atreyu
- Re-Ignition Bad Brains
- Burnin' For You Blue Oyster Cult
- Machinehead Bush
- Burn (Remastered LP Version) Deep Purple
- Free Ride The Edgar Winter Group
- Hard To See Five Finger Death Punch
- Move It On Over (Live) George Thorogood and the Destroyers
- Call Me The Breeze (Live - (Fox Theater 2001 Deluxe Editi... Lynyrd Skynyrd
- I'm Broken Pantera
- Unskinny Bop (2006 Digital Remaster) Poison
- Spiderman Ramones
- Savior Rise Against
- Cherry Bomb The Runaways
- Speed Steve Vai
- Calling Strung Out
- Renegade Styx
- Motivation Sum 41
- Scumbag Blues Them Crooked Vultures
- Seven Nation Army The White Stripes
I think this list of songs kicks Rock Band 3's ass... and I say this as a confirmed Rock Band fanboy. Could it be the introduction of a keyboard and harmonies is softening Rock Band's spine?
