MTV Games revealed a bunch of tracks coming to music game Rock Band 3, as well as some more of the music that will be featured in Kinect-powered movement game Dance Central. The Rock Band tracks run the stylistic gamut from Marilyn Manson's "Beautiful People" to Foreigner's "Cold as Ice," but seem heavy on the nostalgia....
As far as the Dance Central tracks, they are all excellent pop hip-hop. Just what you'd want in a silly dance game.

Rock Band 3 tracks:
- Marilyn Manson – “The Beautiful People”
- Filter – “Hey Man, Nice Shot”
- Foreigner – “Cold As Ice”
- Def Leppard – “Foolin’”
- The B-52s – “Rock Lobster”
- Tears For Fears – “Everybody Wants To Rule The World”
Dance Central tracks:
- Snoop Dogg – “Drop It Like Its Hot”
- Salt-N-Pepa – “Push It”
- Young MC – “Bust A Move”

So far, so good for RB3. I'm all for all kinds of genres of rock. So far I'm unimpressed with GH:WoR's setlist so far. Like some else mentioned, most (not all but most) of it songs are already on RB2, is DLC or can be bout on the RBN.

I got to try both of these games at Comic-Con, and I have to say, Rock Band 3 is shaping up very nicely

My fiance already wanted Dance Central but now that Salt N Pepa and Young MC are on there I might not be able to avoid getting Kinect.
Good lord it the filter out of control. I can't even type the title of a song listed above without it yelling at me.

I hope dance central gets a few rock tracks, why is it that a dancing game is limited to only hip-hop and pop?
