If you've been wondering what U.K.-based developer Codemasters is working on these days, I've got news for you. First, in spite of an Indian company purchasing half of the company, Codemasters is not re-locating to palatial offices in downtown Bangladesh. They're staying in the United Kingdom, and they're even hiring more people to work on their current slate of games.
“We noticed that straight away – forums telling us that we were going to be packing up and moving to India,” Gavin Cheshire, Codemasters VP of studios, told Develop.
“I can safely say that this is absolutely not the case. There are obviously some ‘strategic’ moves for both partners, but in terms of development at the level we’re at, it’s very much about Reliance investing in our skills and abilities over here in the UK.”
Those English studios will be working on a new Flashpoint game as well as new Grid and Dirt.
“In Southam it’s full steam ahead with the next iteration in our Flashpoint series, as well as the next Dirt and Grid. It’ll be interesting to see how it all pans out," Cheshire said.

Dragon Rising was disappointing, I hope the next Operation Flashpoint game is better. Hopefully, the next game will topped Arma II for the best realistic shooter in recent years. The first OFP will always be on my #1 realistic shooter game.

Looking foward to GRID 2.
As far as Flashpoint, they need to fix the AI as others said, and add voice support for giving orders. The first SOCOM did it just fine ten years ago.

OF:DR was nice, not as action packed as COD's, BF, but fun in it own right.
It was by far best Co-Op shooter out, game was best played 4 play coop, crap I miss that, should have never traded it in.

Yes, I agree that the A.I. was awful in Flashpoint, but the game was still fun. The one thing I think they need to change is the long distance fighting. The game was great, like I said, but it got very shallow because you were never fighting enemies up close. Instead you were just picking almost every single last bad guy in the enitre game off from a distance. That lead to a massive disconnect between you and the action.

Hopefully the next Flashpoint game isn't crap. I liked what they were going for, but they executed it badly (for example, the a.i. was horrible!!!!).
