Gamers were understandably skeptical when Ubisoft announced it was bringing multiplayer to its previously single-player only franchise Assassin’s Creed, but the more Ubisoft shows off the multiplayer portion of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, the more receptive gamers are becoming to the idea. And as this latest trailer from Comic-Con 2010 proves, there are plenty of reasons why.

ok... i understand what your saying but the first two game were really at the top in the single player experience and at reproving it the first and second game were far from repetitivetty but still they've managed to keep the story line and game play fresh and im as hell sure that theyre gonna do the same plus the multieplayer mode will crank things up a little so put the criticism away until the game comes out

I never liked either of the AC games and I hated 2 as much as the 1st so this is a game I wont be playing.

Looks great! The only thing I'm disliking about the multiplayer is the skill where you 'transform' into another character type, it kinda breaks the immersion for me - "I am a deadly assassin in the year 1503...watch as I TRANSFORM INTO ANOTHER PERSON ENTIRELY!" lolwut?

Trailer looks good, but that guys voice at the end pissed me off. How come we just saw assassination moves? Is there face to face combat in multiplayer like in the other AC where you have sword fights with guards? Can you have a sword fight with someone else? They need to give us more info soon

Okay. I was a big fan of Assassin's Creed, but it's just getting to that point where I'm fed up with Ubisoft. Okay, they throw a couple of new moves, a new story line, multiplayer, and a few exta weapons, but that's it. I mean that sounds like a lot, but it's not. What's gonna be different except the multiplayer? I'm tired of these video game devlopers putting out revamped versions of a game that's already been played. Somebody has to understand where I'm coming from. You're so excited for the game and then you realize that it's not that great. You try to convince yourself that it is, but a few weeks after you beat it, you're just like "Nah...They could've done better."

The beta was to be accessed Via Uplay "according to Ubisoft" so I don't know how Sony's rewards thing is going to work.

I will finally sign up for playstation plus if i can get into the beta for this. I'm so excited, the combat system looks awesome. More then just the normal stand off, block and counter.
